I'd heard great things about Glasshalfull and chose it for the retirement dinner of a very beloved colleague. Rita, the manager, was extremely responsive and flexible in planning for our ever-growing group (we ended up at 12). Heather, our server, was not only accommodating and knowledgable about the menu, but also super warm and funny. Food and drinks were delicious and those of us with dietary restrictions appreciated the clear labeling and modification options offered on the menu. The atmosphere was fun and festive, but also not too loud to comfortably carry on a conversation. All in all a lovely evening and we are grateful to everyone at Glasshalfull who made it happen.

Fantastic food fantastic service fantastic atmosphere! Popped in on a Friday it was really busy and we had no reservation but the girls at the front were super sweet and squeezed us in. Our waitresses super-efficient and friendly and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend the brussel sprouts and the mini burgers.

Excellent dinner. Great wine and beer selection.

Food was very good as was the service. The photos show black bean fritters, fritto misto, and desserts of budino and chocolate layer cake. The place can be a bit noisy making it harder to hear normal conversations.

Service slightly slow, but that has to be because of the impeccable service and tantalizing creations they serve! Definitely not for the fast food or "I don't eat ____..." crowd.

This is probably our favorite dinner spot in Carrboro. Service and food is consistently amazing. It’s where we go to give ourselves a treat - even if it’s a midweek dinner.

Good service, amazing food (had the cosa and mushroom risotto). Would definitely come back to try more from the menu!

One more date night with my wife! Dinner was awesome. Service was just what we needed after a long week. Our waitress was attentive and not intrusive. This place is kid friendly. Foodie friendly. And OMG, we had a great time.

This is a great restaurant with a delicious selection of items. Reservations are recommended to make sure to get a seat. They do have a small area for outdoor seating when the weather is nice. They also have a wine shop attached with a great selection and price range of bottles. Great place for a date or anniversary as well.

We're eaten here twice. The first time was great, the second time was very good. The wines are expensive except for 1/2 price Monday nights. Last night we had a great appetizer (coca), and good entrees (sea bass special, scallops). The bass was really good as were the polenta & veg with the scallops. The scallops themselves tasted like they were fried in used or overheated oil. Really too bad to spoil a perfect meal with something like that.

Exceptional food in a cozy, pleasant space. Food is fresh, creative, and perfectly prepared. It's expensive -- I consider this a special occasions restaurant -- but worth it.
