Great spot for pre or post theater dinner! Good cocktail list and very good food and service AND you can reserve a table so no pre-show stress.

There are so many great restaurants in midtown it’s nice to find one that compels return. Glasshouse tavern is just that. Although the wedge salad I was lusting for was no longer on the menu, there were many other salad choices. However, it was restaurant week so we figured we would go for it. Two scallops appetizer was an up charge and so was the petite filet mignon. So the $42 quickly escalated to $55. Of course both were delicious as was the white been soup ap and the salmon cooked to perfection. Also, quite yummy were our deserts! Ben provided friendly and timely service. Just a reminder to never pay a bill without checking it since the first one had a charge for one of the deserts which of course, was part of the pre fix and ultimately, upon question, was removed.

If you need a little nosh or a full meal Glass House Tavern is not to be missed. In a rush before your show, go for the flat bread pizza which is delicious & is served in the blink of an eye. Great service & great food.

Well located. Easy walk from Broadway. It was a little dark, even for evening Tavern visits. Our Server (Simone?) was spectacular! If I could have 1 of her everytime I went out. I'd never eat poorly again! The Bar menu is reasonable, especially for NY. Try the Crispy Truffle Risotto Balls! The burger and calamari were a disappointment.

Very good food and service. Best ceviche I’ve had! Great sliders and fries too. Awesome service. Try the jalapeño cocktail and the peach cocktail.

Thought we were going to have a nice dinner. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks, an hour for our appetizers, and had to choke dinner down to make our show. Food was good but not worth the wait or the attitude from our waitress who acted as if she was doing us a big favor. With all the good restaurants in NYC, will not be coming back here again.

I like everything’s about this place. The price is incredibly cheap comparing to its quality. If you don’t know what to order , try the set menu. You will not be disappointed.

Great spot to have a nice dinner near Times Square. Quality food at reasonable prices. The crabcakes and risotto balls were fantastic starters and the paella was equally delicious. I didn't try the lamb bolognese, but someone in our group ordered it and the dish looked very tasty.

I come here once in awhile with family and the service has always been good. Today their was a few Minute wait but nothing major. I have to say food wise Applebee's is ok. Not really my go to place but my kids wanted to come. I do love their mudslides though but didn't get it this time as my kids were here. We did the 2 for 20 which is a good deal and the selection isn't to bad. I definitely got full and enjoyed their new Trivia game they have on the tablets.

Restaurant week is the business! Take advantage of their phenomenal Gazpacho when you go.

Questions & Answers

The lunch prix fixe is only M-F. Saturday prix fixe is $29 for brunch, from 11AM - 3:30PM and has 2 breakfast & 2 lunch options. The regular brunch menu has many lunch options.

Not the best restaurant you will ever go to but consistent good food for the theater district.

Between 7th and 8th, just across from the Barrymore Theatre.

Never on Saturday, call ahead

I requested a meal without mushrooms or red onions and they did take care of that for me.
