We love ordering the bomber pizza from here!!!! Perfect thin crisp crust with the perfect texture and complete deliciousness. Absolutely recommend this pizza for some hungry guys. We order this for our workers when in the area for lunch and family outings.

It's as close to Italian as we can get in the area. I get better in Morganton, and the pizza is a bit on the pricey side and again is decent. If like us your only other option is Untouchables, then this is a way better option.

Great Pizza. Hefty slices. A little on the greasy side, but in a good way (assuming you like it like that). MONSTER cannolis. Great service. Would definitely go back.

Looks like just a pizza to-go place from the outside, but they are actually a regular Italian restaurant, not just a pizza place. Food is good and they carry local/NC beers. Decent prices.

We have been ordering takeout from Giovanni’s as well as dining there for almost 5 years. It’s one of our favorite pizza places (NY style), and they’ve always been consistent and reliable with yummy food and service. They also have amazing salads and eggplant parmigiana. I think any bad reviews they’ve gotten here are random. We love this place! ❤️

Most delicious environment with which to indulge in a culinary experience of which must be experienced to appreciate. Tonight my family an I were pleasantly impressed to find this hidden gem in the foothills of Lakewood! Everything we ordered from the eggplant Parmigiana, to the tender garlic rolls dripping with the perfect amount of butter and garlic, only to be dunked into a scrumptious slathering of fresh delicious marinara sauce! Perfection!! If you haven’t tried it, you don’t appreciate Italian delicacies

What's to say, the food is authentic Italian. Our only problem is the service. We used to see the same friendly faces. Now it's always a constant flow of new servers. Recently our wait times for our dinner has exceeded 45 minutes and this was when they were slow. It's becoming more common to witness people ordering their drinks and end up leaving due to the frustration of not getting their food in a reasonable time. It's a real shame because they had a good thing going. Even their take out times have gotten ridiculously long. It used to be worth the drive from Cornelius but that's changed. What a shame...
