Popular Cozy Cuban cafe. Love it!

Great coffee and good comfort food. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 stars is due to the seating. This place added alot of tables and chairs in the restaurant which makes it a challenge to get around the tables and chairs. I ended up bumping into more than one person.

What can I say - I love this place! I often come here for breakfast and get the one egg, sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich which is the perfect size for me. I usually also get the guava cheese turnover - one of my favourite treats of all time! When I come here for lunch or dinner I also really enjoy the food. It's served counter style and you can select what you like. Food is always fresh and delicious. Portions are large as well.

I can not say enough good things about Gio's. The staff is one of the friendliest you will find in any restaurant and the food is consistently delicious. Make sure you bring an empty stomach, the portions are huge. I really love the cafe con leche and have a hard time driving by without stopping in.

Glad to find this place. After dropping an Uber rider off nearby I found myself 60 miles from home facing rush hour and an empty stomach, not a happy thought. Google to the rescue! On my way out of South Tampa was Gio's. I love Cuban food (ok, I love almost all food). Easy to get to, with decent parking. The specials listed on a big blackboard, sandwiches & meals. I had the Ropa Vieja meal. 2 sides, bread & iced tea for $11. Yum. Absolutely delicious. The counter service is easy enough but the utensils & butter required asking about. Seems they do quite the take-out service as well though there is plenty of seating inside & a few tables outside. I'd come back for sure.

Pork with yellow rice and black beans was good. Came at 1pm on Friday. No problem parking, I was greeted, and it wasn't busy at all. A little pricey, but overall a good spot.

So, happened ta go there for a meeting w/ friends, and so glad I did. So far only had a breakfast Cuban (inc. chorizo, egg, peppers onions) oooh oooh good! Going back for more stuff, it seemed good authentically! And my cortadito? Yeah: *that's* coffee... Nice person packed up 1/2 my sandwich, which I ate for another breakfast! ðŸ‘

Cuban food in a small cafeteria setting. All homemade and quite delicious. Fresh Devil Crab and excellent Cuban sandwiches. They make them both ways. The staff is friendly and the line moves quickly. They have a beverage cooler that has some authentic sodas and juices. Parking is plentiful and there is outside seating.

Had the pork, yellow rice, and black beans. It was very good and the service was very good. It was a little pricey, but worth it over all. If it was a little cheaper I would probably eat there 3-4 times a week.
