All the sliders are De-lish.Homemade chicken noodle soup da bomb! Lima beans with smoked turkey off the chain and I haven't even mentioned the desserts.... TO DIE FOR! Do yourself a favor and give em a try! Customer service is also a 10!

Just was there today. We drove from Delaware up there. Hour and change to get there. Ordered the food . Was told it be ready in 40 to 45 mins. Ok cool. We wait. No call or anything . So then my wife calls and she is told that the order has not even been started. Ok so now it is 645pm. Food was supposed to be ready by 615pm. We finally get the food at 745pm. People had been standing outside the place waiting to order and pick up orders. It was a huge disappointment and we will not be back. Even when it came to getting refunded for the items that they ran out of it was a problem. If you go , go early and make sure you bring your lawn chair and camp out to wait for your food. They were just on the YouTube channel for JL Jupiter food review. That was why they were packed but man it was a bad experience. Never again.

I had my first visit today. I ordered 3 shrimp po boys and took various baked goods home. The sandwiches were exceptional. However, the vanilla cake was a bit blaise and too sweet. There wasn't much of a vanilla flavor. I will be back for the sandwiches though. Very fresh and flavorful. I had a pack of tweens with me who thoroughly enjoyed their food.

I recently visited Gilben’s on Saturday October 24, 2020 and from the time I went in to order my food and then went back in to pick it up, my experience was exceptional. Gilben’s is a Black owned restaurant and the customer service was superb. The atmosphere within this establishment was filled with warmth and joy. Very pleasant and good music playing. I felt blessed just walking in. They told me my food would be ready in 20min and my food was ready in 15mins. I ordered 4 Fried Shrimp Po’ Boy and two sides of carrot cake and everything was delicious. The sandwiches come on a delectable garlic butter roll and was so fresh. The food and the customer service was so good I tried to go back the very next day and order the very same thing. I will definitely be going back and telling everyone I know to go visit Gilben’s. I will now be ordering my baked goods from here as well. With COVID going on, Gilben’s did a phenomenal job with social distancing and making sure everything was safe for everyone. I have ZERO complaints from the establishment. Great job to the cooks and staff. I am overly satisfied. Happy eating good people and be blessed.

Imagine saving this place on google maps to try FOR YEARS whenever you’re in that state, you finally get a chance to go and it’s not what it was promoted to be at all !! As soon as you walk in employees are yelling at each other, employees stand around while you’re waiting to be attended to (while the restaurant was not busy) that being said why are we waiting). After waiting for 30 mins they didn’t have what I wanted and saying it was sold on the OTHER side being their store had 3 components, why did it take 30 mins for me to get this information. I had SO MUCH reasons/chances to walk out but I kept thinking about the 2 hour drive.. another customer made a comment that the place needs to hire more workers, there were FIVE associates behind the counter & 3 customers to serve. Hiring more people will not fix this if no one wants to assist ! finally tasting the food the chicken tasted like it was refried countless times.. I’m not even upset, my hopes were just too high that’s my fault.

For the most part the experience was good, service was fast not a long wait at all. One of the shrimp Poboys was not hot and could have had more sauce but tasted great, also they screwed our order up but mistakes happen. All in all we were happy and will go back next time we are in the area.

It was a very trying experience. I placed the order online to try and make it quick and simple but this place is so unorganized, smh. It gave you a 30 wait time which was understandable. I was waiting for over an hour for 2 sandwiches and a slice of cake. When they finally called for me to pick up my order they misplaced it and I was waiting additional time. The cheesesteak was light on meat and heavy on veggies. The fish poboy was decent and the sliver of cake was $5!!! They also have the nerve to charge you an extra 7% order surcharge when you order online. Customer service and value wasn't there at all, I won't be returning. I can't believe I drove all the way from Central Jersey for this listening to JL Jupiter's review on YouTube, smh.

I’ve been coming to Gilbens since it was a bakery the cinnamon rolls with raisins was so delicious now I’m fast forwarding to the smokehouse 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾I don’t know what’s going on but since the summer the food has been complete garbage today I ordered my mom ribs potato salad greens her ribs was hard and smothered in bbq sauce to try and hide the hardness of the ribs potato salad was old the greens was ok I’m leaving this review because Crystal and Blair have no customer service skills and it’s sad never ever spending my money in this establishment again should have been stopped yrs ago when they was always messing the orders up a total WASTE!!!!🤮

Went on Saturday and ordered a fried shrimp po'boy when I got home I realized it was fried chicken . I ate it anyway but it isn't what I ordered and didn't want to drive back. Since I live almost in Willow Grove. Sunday I ordered the fried chicken platter the chicken was cool there were plenty of the sides. My fish was over cooked. I'd go back for a po'boy but check my order before I go. The people I interacted with were very nice.

We checked out for dinner tonight and my goodness why haven't we ordered takeout from here sooner!? 👏🏿 Queue this tasty grilled shrimp po' boy and the delightful salmon po' boy. Both deserving of an award for sure. Gilben's is Black-Owned ✊🏿 and has quite the dessert offerings and more on their menu 😋. Be sure to check out their Sunday Soul Food menu too - my gawd🙏🏿! Icing on the cake (pun-intended) was the exceptionally friendly service and dare I say handsome staff. I'd give a hundred stars if I could.

It was my first time eating from here and I wasn't disappointed. I bought a cheese steak hoagie and from the bakery a strawberry cupcake. This is my new to get food from. I can't wait to try the Soul Food Sunday Menu.

Oh my goodness my food was so good!! I ordered the po boy shrimp bun was amazing sauce on another level!! To top it off I got some cheesecake for dessert caramel walnut cheesecake off the hook!! Definitely will be back id like to try their soulfood Sundays 😊 highly recommend!! They customer service is horrible! Attitude 😫 act like it's a bother to place a order its sad...

Hi I ordered a fish Po Boy sandwich and it was the worst fish wasn’t golden brown it was like it was microwave because the ends were hard. When I bit into the sandwich I had to pull with my hands to break the fish off.. I should’ve went back in there and got my money back. I won’t be back for that sandwich. I had the shrimp one that was my 1st one ever that was pretty good. But I’m good on the fish. And on top of that it came out in 5 minutes so I know it wasn’t fresh. Smh

A friend recommended me this place, so I decided to try it out. When you place your order, they take down your phone number. They will call you outside when your order is done. Known for their Po Boys, Hoagies, & Cheesesteak, I tried The Grilled Shrimp Scampi Po Boy. It was outstanding. It's better to eat it when the bread is grilled, and hot. They have an assortment of desserts from cupcakes, and slices of cakes to choose from as well. I tried the Caramel Cupcake, and I wasn't disappointed. Next door, the also have a soulfood spot. I like the combination of businesses.

My order was wrong .. Do not get the fried fish ..the owner is rude and nasty
