I love this bar. Food and drinks are a little pricey, but you can never go wrong. This place is perfect for dates or simple nights out with friends. They always have great live music that you don't have to scream over. We did notice a few typographical errors on their drink list which was amusing.

Great food, great service. Cozy atmosphere with a romantic vibe. The food and drinks were great! Got the "dark and stormy" drink with the titanic ice cube (cute touch). The meat and cheese platter was a perfect appetizer.

Came to the Sunday evening happy hour — it was AMAZING. The truffle fries, mussels, and buffalo cauliflower were all so delicious. BJ at the bar had outstanding customer service even when the bar was packed and understaffed. Can’t wait to come back again.

The ambiance was nice, the music was nice, the mussels were great, and Charlie/Charles the bartender spun up one of the best old fashioneds I've had in a while.

This was the cutest little bar I have ever been in! Live music and the bar staff dressed straight out of the 40s lent to the mellow speak easy vibe.

A nice old school classic place. Enjoyed the theme in the bar and service was great. This was a group get together with food. Food was tasty and served buffet style. Their Russian Mule was delicious. Will definitely come back.

Cute little spot downtown that I am hoping to explore more! They had this creative tree up for the holidays and it was all decorated so nicely! The food was pretty traditional American in my opinion, I'd love some more creative or lighter options, but I think what this place mails is the bar scene. I will be back for a martini and some music for sure! OH,and the outside looks so cool, summer will be here soon!

husband and I were walking on Granby looking for a resturant before seeing the Broadway show. We were greeted outside by the host and invited inside. We were delighted by the 30s vibe...the period dress of the wait staff and the elegant menu. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, French onion soup and sea scallops for appetizer. All we perfectly prepared. Next came NY strip with mash and asparagus and chicken parmesan (subbed the red sauce with white). Finally sharing a piece of red velvet cake. Delicious. For those who love wines or liquor..they are known for their large selection and experience in cocktail making. The live piano player was the cherry on the top! Highly recommend!

Welllll... Norfolk didn't fail to impress, thanks to Gershwin's and MOST importantly Charles. He was an absolute stellar mixologist, ask for his Old Fashioned or Manhattan! Claude provided fantastic conversation and city recommendations. We most certainly will return and beyond look forward to it!! Cheers!!

Went there with friends for some drinks. Ordered their "Grand Illumination." It was okay. Some friends ordered martinis that were actually very good.they have live music Monday through Thursday in the evening, and Friday until 1 AM. Overall, it has a pretty good atmosphere and seems pretty upscale.

Questions & Answers

Idk... But the food is great

That probably is okay, there wasn't any door check when we were there

Casual is ok but sloppy informal is discouraged

I normally would just park in the garage on Freemason. Less chance for your vehicle to get hit

Upscale.. Business casual works

It's got a Roaring 20s theme. They have great food and drinks, and a great atmosphere.

If you see the Washington Monument you've gone too far. Turn around and head south.

Don't park in the pay lot directly across the street. It is way too expensive and confusing. Park in the garage right behind the lot instead.
