Very disappointed the fish was over cooked and didn’t taste fresh at all. The fries I would have thought to be fresh cut but they were frozen. Definitely over priced restaurant for what was served

Great food, great service, a nice place to go on a boat trip. Water access only or you can rent a float plane and fly in which a lot of people do.

We went out on the Islander X on an incredibly beautiful day, about 25C with minimal humidity and brilliant sunshine. I had the battered pickerel and fries together with a couple of very tasty Bloody Ceasers. The pickerel was perfectly battered, crisp and delicious, and every bit as good as I have ever had. World class fish and chips. Yummy.

We so look forward to the pickerel lunch. Fish with served with a coating even after making arrangements for no coating on the pan fried fish. Kitchen was unable to prepare the fish fillets in a simple garlic butter although they could prepare shrimp that way. The pickrel fillets looked wonderful, thick and meaty, and would not have fallen apart in the pan. Why can this restaurant serve garlic butter shrimp but can't pan fry their pickerel, the reason we went there, the same way. So after traveling two hours to get to the boat ride that would take us out to the island, followed by an hour on a boat we had to eat small no flavor shrimp that was not caught in Georgia Bay. Sad!

The best freshwater fish I have ever had!!!

Great service and good food, takes a while to get there as it's only accessible by boat or plane. It's on Frying Pan island in Georgian Bay, about one hour from Parry Sound.

Perfect fish and chips. Well worth the visit.Coleslaw was super sad, beans were very tasty but so runny (we all thought it was gravy, until we saw the few beans). They shouldn't even bother with these. We have been here many times over the past few years, and this visit was as good as ever. We took the Islander Adventure Tour boat to get there. It was a great ride on a really nice day.Our server was so nice and friendly, fish and chips were perfect. We also enjoyed a nice beer as they had a few on tap. They have nice seating areas outside and fully covered indoor tables too.

This review is long overdue. I came here with my back-then girlfriend via the Georgian Bay seaplane. We were fortunate and that the weather was just perfect on a summer day. We stayed for lunch and of course had the fish and chips. It was just right. After lunch, we strolled along the shore where I proposed to her. She said yes. That was 8 years ago!! We will always remember this moment.

Staff very friendly and accommodating but the fish was not as good as when the previous owner had it. But still pricey

Cool location but very expensive docking without any amenities. $1.70 per foot and power hookups are extra. Try the government dock just a bit further south.

On the positive side the staff were great , friendly and welcoming. The location of an island restaurant is amazing. The wait was long but the place is very scenic and you can get drinks while you wait. Now for the bad news. Once your seated the food takes forever. The fish is decent but the Fry's are McCain's frozen and taste like card board. One of our guests ordered a chicken Cesar and the chicken was like rubber and appeared to be compressed sysco special. The nacho cheese dip has no taste. Not what you would expect from this kind of venue. Advise to management you have great staff and a unique place. Dont serve frozen card board fries and compressed chicken , it's a let down to an otherwise great place. If your guests want to eat gross fast food then thats where they will go. Guests coming to Henry's are looking for the authentic one of a kind family resturant on the water. Thats what makes people travel to Henry's and what woukd make them come back.

If you're on Georgian Bay you need to experience this and please don't order a burger (not because they're bad). Have locally caught fish for your fish and chips! The chips are fantastic as well. Service was very good but depending on the time and day there could be a long wait for a table. Pack your patience.
