My favorite Italian restaurant! Family owned and operated for 3 generations.

Excellent service from the moment I arrived. My wife and I just celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary, and we wanted to have a nice, quiet meal with no interruptions. Upon arrival, the staff offered a vase for the flowers I had purchased, made all sorts of suggestions for food and drink, and then left us to enjoy the time together. The food was superb, and I don't think anything could have been improved. I also don't think any other restaurant could have been better - anywhere. Thanks, Genusa's Italian Restaurant, for a great 30th Anniversary Celebration.

Love Genusa's restaurant for authentic italian food. I enjoy the entire menu and have never had a bad experience there. Our company has had parties there in the past to have reviews.

Very good itialian food. Olive Garden is no comparison to this place. Very nice ombience, friendly staff. Highly recommend if itialian is what you're seeking. Good place to take a date too, as well.

Amazing Italian food!!! Everything item I have tried is incredible. I drive 11/2 hours to experience their food and it is sooo worth it!

Loved this place when our children were you young (date night 1988), and love it just as much today!

By far the best Italian restaurant in Monroe. Place is huge with 4 dining rooms. Restaurant could use a larger parking lot. Menu has many entrees of veal, seafood, meatballs, obviously many pastas. When you arrive, waiter gives you a basket of hot garlic bread. Delicious! Desserts include homemade cheesecake and tiramisu.

We visited Genusa's while in town visiting relatives. Being from Dallas, we found the place to be pretentious and the food to be marginal and extremely overpriced ( refer to pretentious). $19 for a sliver of grilled chicken atop a pile of flavorless pasta is ridiculous. My husband had the Lasagna and found the dish to be watery. We are not accustomed to this sort of Italian food. Honestly the prices must be to keep up appearances because the food is poor quality. If ever in Dallas, visit Campisi's or Siciliano's and you too will recognize the difference from old world Italian vs Genusa's pretentious attempt at Gormet Italian. The service was slow as well which only added to the negative experience.

The service was excellent and the food was exquisite. You can see why it has been here for 50 years and beyond. Three generations of family recipes is evident. We will definitely be back whenever we are in town.

Excellent Italian food and locally owned. Old World lasagna and Blue Veal are awesome.
