Genki Cafe (Genki Cafe & Gallery)

We visited on Christmas day, and it was nice and quiet here. The atmosphere was cosy and felt casual without seeming cheap. The service however, left much to be desired. Our waitress seemed disinterested, but the man who brought our desserts took the standard back up. The food was delicious. I love the concept of building your own sushi bowl. After ordering our drinks, which arrived promptly, we started with gyoza and a mountain of edamame. Both delicious, albeit standard. The sushi bowls came and were beautifully presented. We ordered large bowls, but small would probably go a long way too. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and the sesame ice creams we finished the meal with were wonderful little portions.

Good good and ok service. We shared a starter of sushi and had two of the noodle bowls for mains.Good value for money :)
