I have no idea how the place has such good reviews. The food was absolutely disgusting. Our main dishes came out cold from the kitchen and one of the diners with us came home with food poisoning. Meals like this make me question the star rating system.

Overall this is a nice place. You can find far better Mediterranean food in Manhattan but this place has something that’s going for it - knafe! This knafe is done quite well and reminds me of the original dish.Good job!

The most delicious brunch I've had in a long time! The hummus is probably the best I've ever had! Will definitely be back.

Had a great meal, good service and food quality. Only criticism is the rice, which wasn't good, but comes as standard with the kebabs.

Had a lovely afternoon at Via Trenta! I ordered the Margherita pizza which was delicious. Sandra gave such quick and excellent service with such warmth and kindness. I had a really rough day and she turned that day around! I love this place and will keep coming back! Special thanks to Sandra!

I had a great experience here. Went here on 3 at a weekday so pretty empty, but the food was so good!! Got the veggie platter and a side of chicken. Service was PHENOMENAL - shout out Roseanna, thank you. They even charged my phone with their own charger!’ Really nice people and delicious hummus and tahini. The chicken shawarma was also on point. If you’re looking for middle eastern food, this is probably the best I’ve had in the city.

The food at Gazala’s is good, their service not as much. We went on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was not very full, but the servers took forever to come to our table, whether to take orders or to give us the bill.

Delicious middle eastern cuisine with a fun ambiance. Service was exceptional. I was deciding between the lamb hummus and the kafta tahini and the waitress recommended the latter which was delicious. It was six meatballs in tahini sauce. The thin pita bread was also tasty and had a great texture. Would definitely return!

Atmosphere was pleasant, the service was very good. The food was OK but nothing special. Got the lunch special of Schwarma and a Feta Salad, while my companion got the veggie plate. The salad was very ordinary with minimal feta. The schwarma was good, but again nothing to rave about. However, the hummus was watery and sub-par. The baba ghanoosh was, however, good. Their least expensive red wine (a California Merlot) was actually quite good for $9. Definitely not the best Middle Eastern restaurant around but OK in a pinch. I am not returning.

Great authentic middle-eastern place! The first Druze restaurant in the United States! So glad they’re in our neighborhood again. Try their Bourekas!

An Israeli Druze restaurant with a wonderful menu and wonderful service. The array of appetizers (or mezes, hot and cold) is excellent! The only issue I have is the seating and tables are arranged very tightly.
