Gayle V's Best Ever Grilled Cheese

We got the the Margarita and Little Italy. Both were good. Liked the pesto in the margarita. My only complaint is about the price for one sandwich, though I guess it makes sense given the source of the ingredients.

Great grilled cheese. A little pricey. Brent had great recommendations. Had The Classic and The Little Italy. Recommend the tomato soup with the classic grilled cheese. Great service.

Got the little Italy grilled cheese sandwich, Farmers market fresh and made to order, definitely the best grilled cheese I had in a while, overall great service.

Just to confirm....these ARE NOT the greatest grilled cheese ever... Honestly they are just okay. The service is slow and the quality of the sandwich is just okay. Definitely NOT worth the $10+ I paid for my sandwich. I would not go back and would not recommend.

I had the classic grilled cheese. It is soooo good! Highly recommend! The place is convenient to get a snack while shopping, on your way to either red or blue line, or city hall/Thompson center,etc.

Brent, Tommy and Amy had superior customer service!!! They helped lead me to just the right grilled cheese which was amazing. It was buttery, crunchy and cheesy! Aka delicious! I took their recommendation of adding a second slice of cheese and I'm so grateful! The cookies are also delicious!

Gayle really does make the best grilled cheese ever! Her staff is very nice and I’m never in there longer than 10 minutes waiting on my food. I love this place.

They are not kidding! It is amazing... nothing on the menu disappoints me

Gayle's is tasty, the menu choices are interesting, creating your own sandwich combination is fun. However, $9 for a sandwich with meat makes sense. $9 for The South Loop (cheese and onions) does not make sense. I'd like for the brand to revisit their price point. I wont be back because (though the food was good) the taste wasn't satisfactory enough for me to ignore the price point.

Fantastic service. Kind, friendly and a value lunch. Get the phenomenal soup to dip your grilled cheese. The flavors of everything are beyond anything I expected. Best ever grilled cheese is right!

Great little place to eat at . I enjoyed their burger and fries , only one drawback , parking is a definite problem there. The area tends to be crowded with traffic and people coming and going . Good luck there, really.

Stopped in for cheese curds and they no longer have them on the menu. But they had samples of their sandwiches out and they were tasty. Staff was nice and friendly.

Even though it's in the name Gayle V really does have the best grilled cheese ever. Never fails to disappoint.

Really small size for the price

Delicious grilled cheese, right amount of toast on the outside and gooey in the inside. Their onion marmalade is phenomenal
