Gateway-Diner Inc

This was my 3rd visit to the Diner. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is excellent. The homemade hash is the bomb according to my Husband. The price is right and the portions are good size.

Filling, fast and delightful. Still waiting for a disappointment from this fine establishment.Looks like it is going to be a very long wait.

The food was good and flavorful. The diner was slammed on Christmas so service and food were quite slow. This wasn't as good as our usual experience. It was about two hours from arrival to leaving.

It was okay. I didn't see anything special about the food. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon. You could tell the staff were rushed and in a hurry.

We came in an unexpected large party. The poor waitress did a wonderful job dealing with our bunch as always. Thank you!

Very clean diner. Food was decent. Polite staff. I didn’t like that there is no baby changing table in the bathroom. I had to change my 2 year old on a ice cold counter where he screamed bloody murder 🤦‍♀️ That is pretty much my biggest complaint. I do think as for the decent food, I may have caught the cook on a off night. Being The staff was so kind and the diner so clean I’m willing to come back and give it a second try. I’m hoping for a tastier meal next time and I’ll be sure to update my review when I do.

This is a proper, polished chrome diner. I suggest the Ruben. I will always suggest the Ruben. Followed by one of their most excellent eclairs. 9/10, would recommend. The remaining one point withheld, is that I lack transportation, and can not easily get there. But I wish I could.

Affordable food, most of the waiters are pretty friendly. Only complaint is it seems their portion sizes have been cut in half.

I like this place very much, I just don't like how they burnt my lamb chops.

The people here are great. Everyone with a smile. Looking for a diner then I highly recommend this one. Oh and the food was great too :))

Good food, extensive menu, friendly staff, great desserts. Not the fanciest food in the world, but solidly good diner and comfort food that almost anyone should be happy with. Great place to come for a cheap meal with friends. Try the meatloaf!

Last time I was there, the food was tasty and the service was great.Couldn't say more!

The look and feel of a Jersey diner, including liquor sales, but without the 5” thick menu. Stopped in for a quick bite and left with a full belly.

Food was good and staff was friendly. The food came out very quick after ordering. Good place for families.

The Gateway Diner has a great menu, fabulous food asanas scrumptious desserts. The staff is friendly, efficient and very helpful.
