An incredible station, large, well planned n beautiful constructed. Many shops inside n also restaurants etc. Station is well signed for the exits leading to various places of interest in Kanazawa. The outdoor foyer has a huge modern Tori gate - most impressive structure embracing the old n new Japan. There r also many shops for souvenirs etc within the station area. Overall very efficient n beautifully designed station.

Japanese are second to none in building railway stations and renovating old ones. After stepping out of bullet train You find welcoming atmosphere and leaving building may touch real wooden entrance gate which You sow in travel guides.

Well designed train station with souvenir shop, boutique shopping, food, tourist information. If you ever want to travel to Fuki, Kyoto, or Osaka prefecture you can take the JR train across and it's a nice train ride. Outside the Kenrokuen Gate exit there is the Tsuzumimon Gate if you're interested in a photo op.

Very impressive huge station with well thought design and architectural structure. Like all Japanese stations, signage and information On dashboards are everywhere to assist you. Look for the station attendant if you need assistance on the the train or information the right platform. They are very friendly and helpful. You can find most shops selling specialty goods and souvenirs in the station. There is a convenient store right at the end if you need to get bottle of mineral water or coffee. Two malls are located at the station. You can find gourmet food and souvenirs at 100 Bangai and fashion boutiques and clothing brands shopping at Rinto. You can grab a quick bite inside the station. There are many restaurants offering local Japanese cuisines.

At first I didn't understand why the station was so highly rated on TripAdvisor. But now I understand, because it looks very impressive! There was even a projection mapping light show at night.

Hi. I'm sorry. I do not know about restaurants.

I do not know where in Kanazawa Station. Also, sushi sushi is famous for Toyama. If it is the source, I think that there is a treatment place of Hokuriku souvenirs in general.
