Family friendly and accessible, with the availability of clean and adequate facilities. Outside seating and smoking area.I think it needs a couple more people serving, we had to wait for a long time before we've got served, then we couldn't find a clean table, we end up picking up all the rubbish on the table and asking for a cloth to wipe it as well!! I feel that for the prices we paid, we could have received better service.

Nice to sit in the sun and have a coffee

Questions & Answers

Call ahead to ensure hours and menu, but, yes, you can go into the restaurant (at the front door, faces the street) and get coffee drinks and a scone, or order off their menu. Be prepared to take your time, if only out of respect: this is not a major chain, or a fast food restaurant. I'm not sure the cafe even has Wifi (but the tenant area does). Gardner's is more like going to your distant aunt and uncle's old, delicate house. If you're into appreciating people and history -- and great scones -- then you'll love it! Probably plan on 30-70 mins to eat there. One couple runs the place, cooks, etc. They are super nice and serve guests with the utmost treatment.

Tuesday through Saturday 8am to 3pm. Closed Mondays and Sundays.
