Talk about some wonderful burritos. Was a little skeptical about the place but the constant 4 - 5 star ratings really speak for themselves. The food is slightly unusual from the So Cal type such as the pastrami fries (Does not exist in So Cal from what I know). After trying the place, I could understand the popularity of it. Food is good & drinks are excellent. Atmosphere is nice and the decoration is another thing all together. All of it fits very nicely together. Just do not order their fish taco. The fish taco is literally a whale of a taco. All in all, one of the best places I have eaten while on my one day Nor Cal vacation.

Great food, huge portions, lots of seating. Hot sauces aren't spicy but they do have good flavor. Service is fast too.

Mexican pub and restaurant with the usual American style: big TV screens and dark lights. A bit country style, but the food is not bad and the tacos, as well as the asada, are recommended. 20 usd the average , if you stop at the first beer. Loved and frequented by a young audience

The food was just ok. The fish and chips came with chipotle mayo as opposed to tartar sauce (and they only offer regular mayo at the condiment bar). The coleslaw that came with it was stale tasting - the shredded cabbage was not juicy and crunchy - which happens to vegetables that have been sitting around for long as they lose their moisture). The burger patty was way over cooked. Their menu says pink in the middle but see picture - it’s certainly not. So it was a very dry burger. Apparently the food used to be better here 2 years ago according to people i know that have been here before. Also - if you do come, bring your Lysol wipes because I saw a customer putting their feet up with their shoes stepping on them (they’re long padded booth seats) :(

Worst service ever. Came here for weekend lunch and the cashier wouldn't give me the time of day. Happened to be my first time there too, so I asked for recommendations and additional info on some of the dishes, and all he said was "I don't know" and "mmhmm" while watching the soccer game on TV.But who cares, been here a bunch of times since. You don't have to be nice to make good food. Amazing burritos, amazing Mexican food. Carne Asada fries to die for.

The food was really good. We went here after worn. It is cash only! Which we didn't know until we ordered. Luckily had some spare cash. This restaurant is also not cheap. I should have ordered the steak zapato. I will grt it next time.

I went here for lunch with my grandparents. What a lovely place! There was a wide range of food and drink options to suit everyone. Everything was delicious, and they had loads of flavor shots to add to the hot drinks, which were a nice touch. The place is decorated nicely and the staff was very chatty and attentive. I will visit them again!

Really reasonably priced food and laid back atmosphere. Great tacos for sure! Had the tuna and mojo chicken tacos. Both were super delicious, but the tuna was my favorite. They don’t skimp on the chicken or tuna. Would absolutely go back.

One of my favorite places to eat in the city. I usually get 3 street tacos or a zapato (flattened grilled burrito). They also have a great selection of beers on tap. Cash only

It was great fun eating here. They have a great atmosphere and good (diner) food, including vegetarian options. The place is a bit hard too find and you can't make any reservations, so you'll just have to go over there and hope there is a table available. This wasn't a problem when we were there on a Saturday evening.

We've loved this place for years because the food is great and the tap list is 🔥🔥🔥. Part of the fun is just that the tap list changes all the time. Ask for recommendations - the staff always knows what's the best.Today, though, I have a special announcement: Garaje will now be open for brunch on the weekends and the food is just as good as for the other meals! Breakfast zapato, chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, hashes, waffles and carnitas. We tried two and can't wait to go back.
