We were there last weekend for Dinner. Not too impressed with the food quality, taste or service. Mediocre thai food. As far as service is concerned please do not expect anything from this understaffed restaurant. Entrees vary from $10 to $18 and quantity would be high but quality is below average standards. The only reason this place enjoys footfall is because it is on the touristic state street. Being local Santa Barbara resident, only great place for Thai Food is hands down "Tap Thai"We are not going to Galanga ever again

Delicious food, they accommodated my gluten and pepper allergies, and they served our large party with no notice. Wonderful people!

Good Thai restaurant. About the same level as many other Thai restaurants I've been to. Service was very fast, we ordered the yellow curry and massaman curry and were very satisfied! They did charge extra for additional rice though 😒

So flavorful. So. Damn. Delicious. Had the Duck Salad , followed by the eggplant basil. Do it.

Food tastes fine. But they just lure money. They charge $3 extra for broccoli, $2 extra for basil, $4 extra for chicken. For meat it sounds reasonable. Last time I went and asked for adding basil, they said $1, second time they said $2. prices are just ridiculous. I ordered yellow curry rice which should have egg, but they didn't make it with egg. Basically they seem to be greedy and conjuce. I will not go there again.

I would Thai another restaurant. The staff were nice but the food was rather blah, especially for the price.

Love this place, I occasionally come to Santa Barbara from LA and it's usually my go to place. I love Thai food and theories plates are consistently good the chicken sate is always tender and the peanut sauce is on point. This is a cute place with a nice ambiance I'd definitely recommend it.

I love the ambiance however I’ve had the curry dishes 3 times and it more closely resembles watery soup than traditional Thai curry. Having started my restaurant industry career at the Thai House in Lawrence, KS, I have experienced Thai prepared by chefs who had just arrived in America and were masters of their craft. The intense flavor and spice of traditional Thai dishes are sorely missed at this location.

Good flavor but very small portions and expensive , they add the tip on the bill but the waitress is never there if you need something

Average food. The beef was very dry and the curry noodles were nothing special. Pricy for the quality you get.

The owners were super nice and friendly! We had crispy duck, mixed veges and the pad Thai. They were all good but not that authentic as for the pad Thai. Definitely a good choice when you’re in Santa Barbara and looking for some Asian cuisine!
