This restaurant was adorable! The food was pretty great too. Being a historic site they use some historic recipes, which were all very well executed and very tasty. This is another place with access challenges though. I didn't see a ramp on my way in, and the bathrooms were downstairs. The one working one was pretty small and I don't know that they had an elevator for folks who need it. The tables were also pretty close together and kinda tough to walk through. Other than that, this place is supposedly haunted! We didn't meet any ghosts during brunch, but it's worth taking your chances for the food. :)

Went here for date night. It's a super interesting restaurant with old fashioned tables, chairs, decor, etc. My husband loved it! I was ok with it. Food was good and service was amazing, you just have to be cool with literally nothing being modern (eating in candlelight).

This is a very old place where President Washington ate at one point. It is an old world elegant place with tons of finished wood, wood floors, and fixtures that all make you feel like you have jumped back in time. The waiters and waitresses even dress in attire similar to what you find in President Washington's time period. The food was delicious. I had Washington's Favorite, which is duck, scalloped potatoes, and corn pudding. It was all delicious delivered very well and with an awesome atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting this place!

The esthetic and atmosphere were fun and interesting. The food was decent with nothing standing way out. The duck was just ridiculously dry. Maybe they are trying to cook it similarly to the time period, however it still needs to be edible.

A better dinner or atmosphere in Alexandria you will not find. The food is all so rich and flavorful but not over the top. George Washington’s Favorite is like a full size thanksgiving dinner and if you think you have the room, Martha’s Puff Pastry is a must as well.
