Futo Buta

We came with our dog expecting to be seated outside. The hostess said they weren’t Really doing service outside and that it was most likely going to rain. Understood. I asked if we could get a to go order to eat on the patio and the hostess said sure. After I made my order the hostess came back and said that we could not eat to go food on the patio. As we were leaving we saw that a large party was being seated outside after we had been told there was no service. This is extremely disappointing since we enjoyed the food. Probably won’t be coming back for a while.

The food is really good, but I don’t recommend getting take out. For some reason they charge a take-out fee when you pick up your own food, which I was really surprised they were still doing given that take out is the only option for restaurants right now. Hopefully this fee is being given to servers who aren’t making money right now, otherwise I don’t see the purpose of it.

The best ramen in Charlotte. It's not even close really. The review probably should be five stars...but... they've outgrown their current location IMO. Unless you go at an off hour, you are probably going to be hit with a significant wait. Two visits ago the wife and I were told a 2 hour wait, which the host seemed rather proud of. Petty to remove the star for a smirk...but I did.

We ate here while visiting Charlotte. It is located in a fun area right off the rail trail that starts in Uptown Charlotte. It’s a small trendy space with limited seating and communal tables. There’s outdoor seating available in the summer & when the weather is good. Service was quick & friendly. We tried a bunch of stuff - everything was good. Our favorite was the pork belly buns. There’s a parking structure right behind the restaurant.

Amazing food, very acommodating to my food allergy and great casual service and atmosphere. I love coming here when i am in town! This place is ALWAYS busy so dont come here and expect them to rush your service, sit take it in and enjoy!

I love this place so much. The food is amazing super authentic ramen bar. I really recommend it. Also the service is amazing. No complaints and I've been here many times.

We made the mistake of going on Valentine's Day since they don't take reservations and seating is extremely limited. But the ramen was very good and service was great too. Would absolutely love to go again on a less busy night.

Good ramen, not the best I ever had....but probably one of the closest real Ramen you can get in Charlotte . The vibe and the service is great! The only thing is the broth, need improvement that is all.

Have been here multiple times before and i love it everytime... their menu is kind of $$ but i guess you get what you pay for so i am cool with it as the food here is great.. one thing is service could be better. They tend to "forget" most of the stuff u asked multiple times.

Favorite ramen place in Charlotte!! Try their Rice crispy appetizer that comes with tuna. I usually order the the: “Little Noodle” and add whatever I want into it. Great place!

In short, it's DEFINITELY worth the wait. While Futo Buta is small, and the seating sparse, the quality of the food makes it all worth it with a fantastic selection of ramen and starters, as well as worthy options for vegetarians and vegans! Service was quick, and the front of house staff kind! I highly recommend.

This is hands down the best ramen in the Queen City. Just expect to wait for your table if you are coming here at busy dining times, but I promise you it’s always worth the wait. Super friendly staff and consistently so yummy. You can’t go wrong eating here!

This was worth the wait. Best soup I've ever had. My wife and I had a great time and while we waited for our table we walked across the tracks to the museum and played ping pong on the table they had set up outside.

Great food, kind of bad environment. I got knocked in the back about a dozen times from people and servers passing by or just from people crowding the inside waiting for their own seat. Ramen had great depth of flavor though.
