The shuttle only runs at specific times and a limited number of times. There is a public bus pretty close that you could use as well. The hotel is located at a nice location for acess to mass transit. We walked to Harvard Square and it wasn't bad.

Harvard Square is 20 mins walk from the hotel. There are many eateries in Harvard Square.

There is a gym in DoubleTree and there is gyms nearby.
