Furusato Japanese Restaurant

Great location, right across Waikiki beach. Good food, great customer service. Very friendly and respectful staff. We went during peak hours in the evening. The food was served on time, and there was no push to move out quickly for the next guest. Food portion was also good. Have to reluctantly reduce a point to give a 4 star because of the AC leaking drops of water where we were sitting. It bothered slightly, but was obvious enough to be taken care by the restaurant owners.

A small and straight forward menu but I would have to argue that this is the best sushi in Waikiki Beach. We ordered the sushi bridge and it was plentiful and each sushi was so delicious and fresh. Waited approximately 20-25 min as the restaurant itself was small but definitely worth the wait with such friendly staff!

Food is not bad. Sashimi and rolls are good, a little pricey. But the Tuna poke is tasteless, not worth at all. Service is bad, the server has no smile at all to everyone. Seems like all customers r owed her something. 2 adults with 2 kids for almost $150 lunch bill, with that kind of service, not worth it.

We were there on a Sunday at 5:30. We had the golden dragon, teriyaki chicken, and California rolls, plus a Miso soup. All were delicious, large, artfully presented, and the service was quick and friendly.

Ah, the exquisite Furusato Sushi on Waikiki beach! My dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Be prepared for a brief wait during peak hours, but trust me, it's well worth it. The sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh and expertly crafted by authentic Japanese chefs (not Chinese chefs), making it a truly genuine experience. I highly recommend the sushi boat, and don't forget to accompany it with a refreshing jar of Japanese beer. The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is simply delightful. If you're a sushi lover, this is a must-visit destination!

Fresh fish. Great service. Fun atmosphere. On the main drag. Eat sushi here! Jay was completely professional serving us. Sake pour into glass overflowing into box. Drink overflow out of box, Japanese style. November 2021 I came back for more. I have added new photos.

This is one of the best sushi spots we have come across. The sushi tastes so fresh and you have a great view near the beach. They also serve you green tea at the end of your meal. It tastes pretty good. Not a very strong green tea flavor so even if your not a big fan you should be able to enjoys this.

40 minutes wait but fun place to walk around anyway. Good value for Honolulu. We hope to return before leaving town, maybe the very next day...

This restaurant was very nice to white people but very rude to Asian. Unbelievable. I regretted to pay tips.

Best sushi I have had hands down. Super fresh and one roll was enough to fill me up. It was also made quite quickly and the green tea at the end is a great digestif.

We got the Waikiki Bridge -- best sushi I've had. Ingredients were unbelievably fresh, the seating was very efficient, and the staff were very kind. All around great experience.
