Funk's Ice Cream & Sandwiches

Service was terrible. Girl was slow. Very very slow. Had to repeat order 3 times. We ordered 2 mint shakes. The picture had cream. No cream. The shake was basically milk..flavoured with a small amount of icecream and charge £4 each. Terrible.

Really disappointed very small and not really any seating

Big fan of the ice cream Peanut Butter Cup of B & J's, I was filled by their cornet ice cream whose price is very reasonable.

It was difficult to believe Ben & Jerry's was worthy of 2.9 stars before going in but it didnt take long to understand why.The shop is a fairly understated affair and the choice of flavours is limited but given pretty much everything they make is delicious, it wasn't deal breaker. Yet.The real dagger to the heart came when the girl behind the counter had decided to cash up 15 minutes early. Despite contradicting herself with a fairytale about closing at 7pm instead of 8pm she stood firm and refused to enter into any negotiations.We left confused and unsatisfied but with a renewed respect for the star rating system.

Yummy ice cream, a bit high priced, definitely worth it.

Travelled there especially to get ice cream and look at the Tower, understand why it has a low rating. The staff member wasn’t speaking English and said they were closed. They were not.

Walked ages because it says online it shuts at 8, but we get there at 7 for them to say it’s closed. Please change the times, it was very annoying.

Perfectly located opposite entrance to the Tower of London. they are located inside a split shop with Subway. They have a rather small selection but it does the trick.

Was shut when we visited (before 7pm) despite google saying was open to 8pm

It's very busy with the staff being shared with the Subway next to it. The lady behind the counter told me to pick a different flavour because the one I picked was too hard

Ice cream was half melted and I purchased the extra toppings, 50p each, and I literally got 3 tiny pieces on the top... Considering I spent over £5 on a icecream I wasn't impressed. I asked the waitress if that's a normal serving and she shrugged her shoulders and said "yeah".

They used the same scoop for non dairy ice cream. I suggested they should wash it before as my son has a dairy allergy due to cross contamination. Staff seem very unwilling untill I mentioned about the asphyxia and medical emergency from a dairy reaction. Very suprise from a international brand that they don't have a separate scoop policy. Will avoid in the future.

Incredibly pleasant and friendly staff loved the vibe and we were well looked after. If the service was amazing, ice cream went one better. Everything ice cream. Cookies and Cream was the nicest of all. Can’t wait to return!

Unfortunately very poor considering this is a Ben & Jerry's. Although a joint location with Subway (and what you smell as soon as you enter), they were happy to scrape the dregs from an ice-cream tub just to get my friend one scoop. Mine was melting in the freezer and it just slopped into my tub. Definitely not happy. At times the staff really didn't care. It was quite an awful experience and it wasn't even busy. I dread to think what it's like then.

Tasty, but the prices are outrageous
