The best Sicilian slice ever made, rises overnight with the cheese, popped int the oven with fresh marinara on top. Cute, noisy bar in back when lucky to grab a spot.

Their margarita was one of my favorites and was so full of flavor. The pepperoni was very good as well, although I prefer the pepperoni at Prince St. Pizza.

Definitely one of the better pizza squares that you’ll get in Manhattan. I tired a pepperoni square and a normal square - both were great in my opinion. The place does get really busy late night but it’s well worth it. Stop by if you’re in the area, you won’t regret it.

Granny pie is very good. Get a corner if possible or an edge at the min. The wait for a table can be long since it is small. But they sell slices to go. I got two and enjoyed them outside. I will return. Found this place thanks to bon appetite test kitchen YouTube (Claire)

I had huge expectations on this place however none of the good words I had heard matched the reality. The pizza was at best mediocre. Sure they have generous amount of topping but it still don't add up to the price you're paying. The place doesn't have the huge amount of customers so it's likely that they will re-heat your slice. Forget about the normal slice if you go here go for the square. What made the experience worse was the loud horrible music they were playing, which made it more or less impossible to talk to each other. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place.

Great pizza, they ferment the pizza dough so it comes out light as air and super delicious. I'm gluten sensitive and read that the fermentation process makes the crust easier to digest. I had no issues. Docking a star for the service which was poor.

Perfect crunch in the crust, tasty cheese and a good level of salt in the sauce. Finished off which a little bit of olive oil. Possibly the best slice in NY

It was just a thin crust pizza. Nothing blew me away but it wasn't bad. Location is really small and unless you are able to get a spot to sit in, there is always a really long line out the door. We only tried the Cheese, Pepperoni, and Sausage so we can't say that they might have had better specialties or not but it's become more of a tourist go-to.

Still the best slice of pizza. The margherita is the best I've had. Very small sitting area though so this place tends to cater mostly to carryout.

This place is great for a quick slice. The staff is exceptional. A small bar and seating in back with popular music. Would highly recommend for anyone going to china town. It is very popular though so lines can get really long at peak meal times. Skip Little Italy and go here for you slice.

Love this joint. Vibe is great, the people in there are the best, and the pizza is the best slice in the city. My go to place to show my family and friends what nyc pizza is all about.

Great spot. Not quite as good as Prince Street but different tasting. Back bar area is awesome, throwback to 80s/90s New York Pizza PlacesSquare cheese - A+Pepperoni Square - B

Scarr's is so good. Massive by the slice or whole pies, depending on your appetite. The cheese pizza is light and fluffy without being too doughy or oily. The staff are super friendly, and the retro fit out makes for a unique and memorable NYC pizza experience.

When I think of New York Pizza, this is exactly what I want. It's a tiny hole in the wall. It's so small, that you can barely walk through it and about 5 people can wait inside. They do have a few tables but expect to wait around an hour for those when it's busy. We went on a Friday night and it was busy. They only had one pizza ready at a time because it sells so quickly. We wanted pepperoni and only had to wait about 5 minutes for it. A slice of pizza was $4 and it was a good size. The pepperonis were small and crispy (exactly like I would expect). Everything about it is what I expected it to me. Greasy, big, delicious. This is definitely the place to come for NY pizza and I'll be back on future trips.

Scarr's is one of my favorite pizza places I've ever been to. I even bring friends and guests here on my New York City pizza tour on Airbnb experiences: Bob's pizza tour (@bobspizzatour). This is quickly becoming one of the best pizza places in NYC. Gotta order their pepperoni Sicilian pizza - it's the best I've had.
