Oh my God. This place has the best Tempura ever. They still keep the tradition of using sesame oil to deep fried tempura. I ordered from the menu instead of set. Because most of us would think of tempura is prawn, fish and some veg. But let me tell you, Japanese can turn any food into tempura. Just try 1) tempura oyster with a capsicum base2) tempura larch (tiny little fish) 3) tempura large clam with sitaki mushroom4) tempura mushroom stuffed with prawn Must try using different type of salts with the tempura. Wasabi salty sea salt and lastly my personal favour plum salt.
Questions & Answers
Currently I only like Shinjuku main store, Kinshicho and Marunouchi.
Summer is goya, white mushrooms, Baninji tempura, burdock etc.
