Full Moon Bar-B-Que

Best barbecue in Alabama. I loved it! The baked beans were delicious and the collard greens were a little salty, but I could tell they were cooked in-house. I had the pulled pork and it was melt-in-your-mouth scrumptious! I will definitely be going back!

Visiting from Columbus Ohio. Delicious!!! Wish you were closer. Employees were so nice, entrees were plenty big, white sauce was out of this world! Keep hitting it out of the park!!!

I like Full Moon, I always have a consistent experience across locations. The BBQ, chicken fingers, and sides are all great. If you haven't given them a try you should. I don't think it is the best BBQ around but it is close to the best and the service and atmosphere are good.

Chow chow and fried green tomatoes are both wonderful. Pork sandwich is great. Don't miss out if you're stopping through Alabama; Full Moon is legendary!

Good food and friendly personal

An absolute great place to get bbq style food in the Hoover area. Serving up delicious smoky meats, solid side-dishes, and smooth beers all to pair perfectly with some home-made style desserts. The manager here, 'Terry,' and his team are sure to take care of you and your best buds; tastebuds of course.Sports fans rejoice, this place is wall-to-wall memorabilia, historical photographs, art, and the big screens are always playing.Pair food this good with the latest in sports entertainment, and you've got yourself a bombshell of an afternoon or evening!

I meet friends in this place quite often! This is my favorite place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place many times. The cooking is very tasty, the workers are professional and the cost is affordable. I like being in this restaurant for a nice dinner.

After eating at this BBQ restaurant and think I need to remove a star or 2 from the Ohio BBQ joints I’ve reviewed. This place is the real deal!!!

Went on labor day. Yes there was a line but so worth it. As usual great food, the loaded backed potato and a generous portion on the chicken plate. Tried the new smoked wings! Out of this world, some of the best wings ever. The wings had plenty of meat on the bones!

The BBQ sandwich was great. It had a good sauce and interesting relish on top. The sweet tea was the sweetest I've ever had, it may even be too sweet. The deserts are also very good. They do have beer available so its also a good place to go and watch a game. I would gladly go back.

First time, but not the last. The ribs are incredible. Best barbecue I've had in a long time.

Always accurate, friendly with shareable portions

We had some people in from out of town that we wanted to bring by for some good southern BBQ experience. We knew our friends would be impressed with the selection and taste. They were talking about the experience for days. There are many very good BBQ places around Birmingham and we are so glad to have this place as one of the closest to us. We have not made it to dessert yet but I have heard that they are very good. Hard not to fill up on the BBQ and onion rings.

When it comes to Bar-B-Que, I like to be able to see smoke coming from the establishment. They may be fooling by just burning wood but the taste says otherwise. Every once in a while I like to have some baby back ribs. While Full Moon is one of those joints that will lay the sauce on I have not been disappointed. The meat is tender fall off the bone. The sides and desserts are on point. Felt like I was getting a whole rack when I ordered the baby back plate
