We went here tonight, Saturday. The service was quick and the hibachi was fresh and the food was great! Definitely give it a shot!

I haven’t tried their hibachi, but their sushi was really good! Wonderful service!

Wow! This is the best sushi around the Raleigh area. I can’t express how yummy the sushi is here! This has been some of the best sushi I’ve had outside of Japan. The fish was so fresh! The sushi maker is definitely an artist.

Not a fan of the new change. They are very strict on the no substitutions now. We never get noodles always “all rice†because we’re not a noodles family but I was told no substitutions and that it would be extra charge. I order this to go. I told him that I’ve always done that. But since it’s a new name, new changes. He wasn’t the nicest person either. The to go portions started to get smaller before the change as well. I will stick to Kanki going forward.

We ordered $50 of sushi and a TEN DOLLAR side of scallops/broccoli. When we opened our side of scallops, we laughed. To charge $10 for this is just ridiculous. We called, complained. They said “next time, don’t order a side, it goes by weightâ€. We will never be back and will continue to give our business to the other sushi places in Brier Creek.

Love this place! Great location, awesome wait staff, friendly chefs. We come here for work outings/luncheons regularly and they are always wonderfully accommodating.

The food was good and the chef was excellent HOWEVER... my son and I are gluten free (not by choice) and they charged us an extreme amount extra. We got sushi and they charged us $3 for gluten free soy sauce. Then my son and I each got charged an additional 3$ for our gluten free meals. $9 extra. The cost of a meal. We asked if we could get extra rice because we can’t eat the noodles and they were charging us extra, and the owners said no. Sooo they charged us extra and gave us less. So disappointed...miss the other owners. :(

Got some sushi last night after checking into a nearby hotel.By the time my hubby and I sat down, they were 20min from closing. The staff was friendly and told us to stay as long as we liked. We ordered our food and left about 15min after closing. The sushi was AMAZING and so fresh, not to mention how accommodating they were. The decor is modern and it is very clean inside. We'll be going back tonight to try out some more rolls ðŸ£â™¥ï¸

Fantastic sushi chef. Fresh delicious food. Separate sushi area with a modern bar. Attractive friendly service. What else could you want?

Nice atmosphere. Great service and sushi. However, the hibachi wasn’t great. Something was off about the seasoning and the ginger dressing they used on the salad wasn’t good. I probably won’t come back for the hibachi.

Eaten here many times as Fujisan. Consistent product, exactly as it should be. Servers put on a pretty standard show with little uniqueness which is disappointing. If this were my job I would be constantly innovating. But food is great and reasonable value for money (dinners are basically two full meals). Place can be quite crowded since walk ins and reservations are common. I’d stick with hibachi chicken or Salmon or the “jumbo†shrimp option for dinner. Miso soup is so simple yet so good. If they still have it in this new renovation get a samurai martini. It’s green. And green is good!

We had some of the best sushi I've had in awhile and I'm pretty particular about my sushi. Great service and amazing food. Will definitely be going back.

I won’t go here again. I’ll pay double for Kanki. Food tasted horrible like a kitchen sink and all the meats tasted the same. The steak is thin cheap slices, not the thick chunks you get at other places.
