Go to Mt.fuji station, change local bus go to "Yamanakako Asahigaoka bus terminal" , change hotel shittle service(you need reserve) You can walk from "Yamanakako Hirano bus stop" about 2km. Highway bus from Tokyo station or Shinjuku station , go to "Yamanakako asahigaoka bus terminal" or "Yamanakako Hirano bus terminal".

On December morning and evening the temperature gets below zero ,and also on warm day it sometime comes to be around 10 degrees Celsius (65 degrees Fahrenheit). In this season ordinarily there is no snow day. In winter season as activities we recommend you riding KABA BUS（http://en.kaba-bus.com/yamanakako/） at Lake Yamanaka or a horse because you can see so beautiful Mt. Fuji. We drive here and I think the nearest bus stop is still 2-3km away. Hotel offers pre-booked scheduled shuttle from Yamanakako bus terminal. ( see photo for schedule taken in Dec 2017) Same with the restaurants and shops; except the hotel's own restaurant (western grill style), others are about 2-3km away too. I'll say this hotel is more convenient for people driving. (Free parking)
