The best RAMEN in ILLINOIS. This place will blow your mind.

First time in Chicago and this was an excellent pick. Why order one big bowl of ramen when I can go for a smaller portion but with more superb dishes. The small was a bit small but when I paired with 3 other dishes, it was enough for 2. It came out to be $20/per person with a bottle of delicious sake to share. We got the ebi katsu, spicy miso ramen, pork belly salad and another fried shrimp appetizer.

Authentic - super delicious - very healthy and very well presented food. The only downside is that the place is a bit cramped up. Hardly any place to wait up or even move around. Though the interiors are beautiful.

Great customer service! Had the beef & rice bowl. Was fantastic, it was worth every penny. I'll definitely come back.

The ramen soup that I ordered was very delicious. However, there are a couple of things that I think should be improved:- background music was RnB style, not really matching the interior and the cuisine - if a restaurant/cafe claims to serve ramen (Asian noodle soup), it is unacceptable and disappointing to get spaghetti instead of Asian noodles, especially if they look as if they were bought in a supermarket - price for the regular bowl (proper meal) was 15$, which I think is quite expensive.

If I could only eat at 5 restaurants for rest of my life this would be one of them. The food is fresh and its quality you can taste- you can't find something on the menu that is bad. The service is fantastic, especially the guy who may or may not be running it. Once we left our debit card there and he actually ran down the street with it to give it back to us. I mean C'MON no one does that in Chicago, expect for him. Heads up the place is pretty tiny is and is not suited for large parties, there is only one table that would be able to accommodate a party of 5 or 6.

Delicious food. I had the chicken ramen and I loved it. Every table has a bottle of their home made chilli oil which is very potent. Handle with care! The place is very small but love the ambiance and furniture. Portions are relatively small but well priced. What I like about that is that it allows you to try more options! Loved the place.

We live just around the corner and walked pass it everyday since it opened some years ago, just never really thought the food will be special, because it is like Ramen tapas. For people who really enjoys Ramen this is a big no no. But for the slightly more chic crowd, this goes along with the "less is more" idea. The place is tiny, about 8 tiny tables made of wood blocks, not mean for you to sit long and work on your paper, and for w small place, high turn over is important. The food is actually good, everything we tried was quite impressive, but not "I will be back soon" good. The broth base is the same, just adding a few twists to it. The qty is tiny, about 2 full bites and it s gone. It is surely good for snack. A single bowl is about 1/4 of the real thing (don't let the broth fool you). I personally prefer the Ramen at Misoya, it is original. Did someone say Ramen-san?

Best Ramen in the area, loved the small pan style serving of Ramen. Best place to grab a Ramen on the go. Service is excellent and the ambience is so good

I'm a fan of spicy food and LOVED the hot chili sauce they have on the tables to be added to the soup. The small portions are fun to eat. Sadly, I tried 3 different bowls and thought all 3 were just okay. None of the soups were served hot, just warm at best.

I loved the food and the intimate setting. The seating area is pretty small and can probably only accommodate around 20-25 people. The food was wonderful. I had the Chicken Ramen and the Garden Salad. There was also an interesting wall where people had hung little pieces of paper that looked liked wishes. (See my picture.)

I go with my wife to this great spot often! This is the best place to dine. I visit this place regularly. The food is excellent, the team is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy meeting in this restaurant to have a good dinner.

I shy away from giving it too good a review because I want to eat here again and I don't want to wait too long. I like the rustic and quirky atmosphere as a respite from the hustle of the Chicago downtown. Great alternative for something unexpectedly different for date night but probably not so good for large groups.

No complaints about the food! It's fast, delicious, and reasonably priced (especially for the area). The staff is attentative and friendly. My only complaint is the loud music, which is a mix between EDM, trap, and house music. I find this to be an odd music choice at 1 in the afternoon, but that might just be me. Pro Tip: the seats are pretty small if you're a large (6 foot+) person, so just be aware.

Not sure, we purchased one of their bottle. My suggestion is to call and ask.

If you are referring to the spicy miso ramen, it wasn't that spicy. They also have other choices that's not spicy if you prefer that better.
