Vegan ice cream options, absolutely delicious flavors (some particularly novel and refreshing ones like lemon basil), friendly staff. It's a small, warm nook of a space. Perfect.

Probably the best peanut butter gelato I’ve ever had, especially topped with a scoop of double chocolate. The flavor options here were incredible, and the gelato was creamy, flavorful, delicious.

I thought this was going to be another standard gelato place, but fresco went beyond my expectations. First off, they have unique flavors like "White Rose" and "Lemon Basil" with a good amount of them being vegan. And you get to sample flavors if you're unsure about it. My friend and I ended up getting Birthday Cake and Coconut Latte, which are both extremely good. We ordered a small and you can get 2 flavors in that. They're also a cafe so they have real food you can order, as well as espresso and tea beverages and a small selection of baked goods. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because of the pricing. This place is pretty expensive for gelato. A small will cost you $6 pre-tax. However, the atmosphere is like any other coffeeshop: nicely lit, a good amount of seating, and a few outlets. I don't remember seeing a bathroom though, and I'm not sure about the free WiFi here. But overall, I enjoyed my experience here, and will definitely be back to treat myself!

Good food and great coffee. Their ice cream is to die for!

While I tend to prefer ice cream over gelato, Fresco might make be a believer. Their selection of flavors is big enough to offer variety but not so big that you lose the quality and uniqueness of each flavor. The friendly staff didn’t even roll their eyes when we tried ... probably half the favors they offered. Ha! They have free water and reusable (I.e. green!) glasses. Everyone is super friendly!

Popped in to grab a take away coffee and chai latte. Both excellent. We Aussies are very fussy and these were delicious. Got two muffins that they had baked. Lemon and poppyseed flavour and a blueberry. Great texture and flavour. This cafe has a great vibe. Pale wood and white interior. Food well displayed. Never got to try the gelato unfortunately. Would definitely return to try next time I’m in NY

Nice hangout place with friends. They serve coffee and ice cream. Heard that their brucnh is good too! Will try again next time. It is near to Astor Place or 2nd Av station
