Went here for my husband's 30th and it was fantastic! Our server Hayes was wonderful and very helpful with recommending drinks and food. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant. And it's no wonder why their she crab soup is award winning, it was mouth watering!! We'd go back here in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

A good choice for a cheery old-world, meat-eater's holiday dinner and drinks. I recommend the she-crab soup first, then scallops or prime rib. I'm planning to return next Friday -wild game night- for some venison tenderloin. I don't know of another local restaurant that offers it!

I was there during the Christmas season. It was beautiful and unique inside. The food and service were nice too.

We always love Freemason Abbey. This is the first time back since one of our church members and food eating partner went home to be with the Lord. She loved, loved coming here. It was hard but the food was excellent as always! We'll be back!!

Love the she crab soup! The atmosphere is wonderful and if you are into eating game meats they have a club that you can join that offers you dinners that offer such meats as ostrich, bison, venison and other exotic types that you can try.

Wonderful meal. Great relaxed atmosphere. The she crab soup and the fried green tomatoes were excellent and the steak was perfect. This is a favorite for dinner with friends.

Fantastic. Great food, excellent service. Amazing atmosphere. This place is great. Recommend a reservation, or you'll never get in during dinner hours on a weekend. They're a little pricey, but well worth it. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent food and service. I had the garden quinoa burger with fries. It was moist with good flavor and the fries were crispy. My husband had the salmon offered for restaurant week. It was served with asparagus and rice. He said the salmon was cooked perfectly and the rice and asparagus were very flavorful. We were both very pleased with our lunch.

Went there for lunch and it was amazing. Our sever, Hays, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and helped me pick a great drink to warm me up. The blue cheese prime rib sub was fantastic and flavorful. Will definitely recommend this place

Great food and great service. I love game nigjt...not board games but wild game. Where else can you get rattlesnale or other exotic food. We were here on New Year's eve and as busy as they were, quality and service never suffered. This is a great spot to go with kids or for a date night. We will be back very soon.

Amazing service, great food, and interesting location! Ordered the scallops 😋 and they had a gluten free menu for my husband! Definitely will return the next time I’m in town.

If you're mostly coming for the atmosphere and famed she-crab soup, have at it. The service is also terrific - no complaints there. But I was disappointed that their only drink specials require you to sit at the bar (where there are only ~7 bar stools to begin with). I was also disappointed in my order of ribs. I didn't expect the meat to fall off the bone, but I also didn't expect it to cling for dear life. Or to be drenched in BBQ sauce. Maybe the chef overcooked my ribs and thought extra sauce would make up for it? I don't know. But I probably won't be back.
