Freeman's Grub and Pub

Had a great tasting beer. I wish I could pronounce it to tell you what it was. All of their beers are good though. Try them all. Good here is great. I stopped in to see if I could make a reservation for 16. Unfortunately, I can't. Hopefully they won't be too busy when we go.Ah ha. I took a pic of that beer. It's the middle one.

Hands down the best meal in Greensboro, and you won't break the bank to get it. I eat here every chance I get and I have tried almost the entire menu at this point. Southern decadence, with the brightness of fresh ingredients. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

I love this little spot, and forget it far too often, because the menu is small. BUT.. if you are in the mood for a sandwich, the Bahn Mi is excellent - my first choice every time I go. I keep telling myself that I will try something else, but when I sit down to order.. it's the Bahn Mi and jalapeno seasoned fries. I love their Strawberry Jalapeno infused tequila, as well. The bar is well stocked, and the bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend both the place and the food.

Interesting décor, friendly knowledgeable staff, and liquor infusions make this spot an experience. From the Dark Angel I drank to the character that poured it, I thoroughly enjoyed Freeman's. And, the bathroom was clean!

This place made my night, was there for a concert (KISS) in fact. Everything was booked solid and they squeezed us in. Luckily a nice couple let us join them at their table! We had some awesome food, pulled bbq pork or corn bread with cole slaw and a great brew. Pricing was reasonably and friendly staff! Highly recommend this place! Thank you guys!

Another Very underrated spot!!! If you're a Cask Ale lover, this is the place for you!! Plus they have infused liquor selections!!! It was my 1st time there but I'll be back again!!!!

My husband and I frequent Freeman’s and tell everyone family member and friend who will listen that it’s the best restaurant and bar in Greensboro! Phenomenal, friendly service no matter what time of day or day of the week, the food is always so fresh and hot with great ingredients. The portions you get for the price can’t be beat either. Our Togo’s always have every single condiment and items wrapped separately, we can’t speak highly enough about this place!

Good beer on tap, nice atmosphere, great food, with vegetarian and vegan options. Over all a great place to go. My favorite time to go is Sunday with their special brunch menu.

WE have never had a bad meal here. The food is excellent and has a great brunch menu.

I drive an hour one way just for Freeman’s so I’ll put it simply. If I were on death row receiving my last meal, I’d request Freeman’s buttermilk friend chicken BLT, the enchiladas and a tres-leche dessert jar. Then life would be complete. 10 stars

Cozy atmosphere, inviting staff and good food?! Yes this is where you want to be this fall/winter. We had the fried chicken wings and poutaine fries. The chicken had a delicious smoky flavor and was complimented by blackberry BBQ sauce. The fries were drizzled in a gravy-like sauce and smothered in cheese. Ooh and the fried oreos!!!
