I have no knocks on this place quality wise. Great location, great food, and great atmosphere. Fred's is a TCU area icon which has been featured on the Food Network and fed Horned Frogs for many years. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the price. It's a little steep for what it is. Well worth the trip, but be ready to spend 15-20+ bucks a head.

We drove a long way because we heard the CFS was to die for. It was decent, but nothing to brag about. And it was $15 by itself. The atmosphere was great. The parking is horrible. Not enough spaces for such a big place. We probably wont go back.

Questions & Answers
Guy Fieri did come about 10 years ago. He filmed an episode of Diners Dive In's and Dives. During filming, and by pure coincidence Martin Sheen showed up for a burger. It's an awesome episode and I believe it's available to watch on hulu (season 6 episode 9). You'll also notice things looked alot different then. If you love Terry Chandler aka the Outlaw Chef (the owner of Fred's) there is also an episode on Guy's Big Bite (season 7 episode 10). Hope this helps! Also, sorry for the late answer. ?

You can park in the garage and get a free voucher at index skateboard supply on Crockett street. Its across from Terra Mediterranean food
They have a salad burger option!
