Fred Chason's Grandsons Famous Buffet

Being from the north, I always had an idea of what I thought southern food would taste like. Grandsons totally exceeded my expectations! Wow!

The service was good. Food was hot and trays were full. I wasn't impressed with some of the options or flavor but maybe I just wasn't used to true southern type items. I went due to the many positive reviews.

Food was great! Reminded me of a family gathering and feasting on comfort foods while surrounded with loved ones. Great place and love the waitress and waiters overalls uniform. Goes with the country southern vibe!!

Can't wait to get back to Fayetteville that's the place I'm going to right after I check in my Hotel room.

Another hit and miss restaurant and lately it's more misses. Shrimp are rubbery and greasy. Vegetables underseasoned and sometimes floating in a brownish liquid that is very off putting. I am old enough to remember Fred Chason and his restaurant in Lumber Bridge. I never had a bad meal there.

This place!!!!! If you love good food and friendly service at a great price, this is the place to go. This place has delicious fried chicken, fried fish, veggies, beans, desserts and that's not all. It was my first visit but I'm definitely going again before I leave Fayetteville.

Always friendly staff and great food. Exceptionally clean especially by buffet standards. And the quality and type of food is outstanding.

I like their various veggy options. Their fried shrimp and fish was sitting in grease. It really is a hit or miss. I try to wait until they bring out a fresh batch.

Greatest buffet ever to get homestyle meals when your wife or girlfriend don't want to cook, lol I'm just joking around. I don't have a girlfriend. Now back to business, Grandsons has the best taste foods I had ever ate! The employees there are very friendly & helpful and they have everything you need to eat!!! Even Sunflower seed kernels that I love to eat!!! I 1000% recommended for you to visit, "Grandsons" because once you go Grandsons, there's no turning back! You're say forget about the other buffet Restaurants, I'm going to Grandsons come on honey let's go!

The food is great. It has everything that I liked from a typical American buffet and the price is unbeatable.
