Franklin on Twiggs

Fun place to grab some food and drink in downtown Tampa within walking distance of the university of Tampa. The tables are wood with a chalkboard cover. Perfect for grade school and college kids alike to express their creative side.

What can I say, other than I love Franklin On Twiggs!! My opinion on their food?.. phenomenal. The owner personally coordinated/catered an event for my "Welcome Home" I party I threw for my residents and all 136 of them raved about the foods for weeks! I've had multiple items on their menu and nothing has been less than excellent. Super friendly - down to earth staff. Prime location in the heart of Downtown Tampa and best of all, affordable freshly made food right in front of you! Thank you Franklin on Twiggs! We all love having you in the downtown area!

We recently decided to use Franklin on Twiggs to cater an evening work event. All I can say is WOW! The food was well prepared, exactly what we ordered, and exceptionally delicious. We ordered with only about 2 days notice and they were able to accept our order and even deliver it to us. The portions were exactly as described on their website and the price was great. I definitely recommend this place and will be ordering again soon for future events!

I was pretty desperate for a late night meal after getting called in late at night. 1) Food is delicious, I had the burrito bowl 2) Above and beyond service when my Uber driver canceled my delivery. Thank you guys for making sure I got fed 🙏🏻 Food was delicious and you have a new loyal customer!

There isn't a single item on the menu that isn't fantastic. Whether it's the tacos, bowls or side items everything is tasty. The pork and steak prepared with jalapeno sauce are my particular go-tos but the poke bowls will take care of any sushi cravings you're suffering.And the macaroni and cheese really is the best on the planet.

The original plan was to eat somewhere else, but they had a very long wait. To my surprise, this Eatery ended up being quite the treat!! The tacos were excellent. I had the steak. The steak was so tender and perfectly flavored. The guys that work there are super friendly. The queso was tasty and very cheesy. I will admit, when I got the total, I was biting lip. 😬 By the time I was done eating everything, it was totally worth it!! 🤗🤗🤗

Very delicious Hibachi bowl and taco, and loved how caring the staff were: I mentioned my daughter had a fever and asked if he could recommend anything for kids who were sick. The staff member offered to make some chicken and rice, and for it to be on the house! My daughter, who didn't eat anything for the whole day, had some of the chicken and rice! Thank you so much! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Amazing food. Stopped in on a whim and the food was delicious! The service was unmatched to that of anywhere else I've tried. I highly recommend.

I absolutely adore eating here. The poke bowls are my favorite but above all I love being greeted by the staff. They're very fast and always in a good mood even if they're slammed.

Fell in love with this place the first time I went. I've had their burritos and poke bowls and so far everything I've eaten has been top notch quality. The vibe is chill and relaxed, especially for being off Twiggs and in the middle of the rest of the restaurants. Still, this one stands out due to consistency and quality, which should always be paramount! Great job guys and I'll keep uploading those pics 💯

Awesome food! Went here tonight with my sis while waiting for mom and girlfriend to get out of the Elton John concert. The owner was great! Very friendly and pleasant, and the food was just as great! I will definitely be coming here every time I’m hanging out in the area! I recommend the blackens grouper burrito done island style I believe. Again great food and service!

Stopped by for a bite to eat and drink. It was amazing!! Highly recommend the burrito bowls and the chicken corn tacos. The service was quick too! Will definitely come back!

We had just finished CluedUp in downtown Tampa and stopped by this restaurant with hungry stomachs. The line was long but we decided to stay patient. We ordered a couple of vegetarian bowls and poke tacos. Our food was excellent and worth the wait! Our meals were tasty and served at the right temperature. I was so hungry that I forgot to try their two different hot sauces. So now I have a good excuse to go back. The cashier was friendly and helpful. When he finished taking all the orders he helped assemble our meals. Keep up the great work!

We had the poké and it was delicious. The fish was great and high quality. Although, I do think the Asian slaw was marinated way too long in soy sauce for our liking- VERY salty. We still ate all of it though, it's too delicious overall!

Nothing to write home about unless you've never had poke before. Ingredients were fresh and the sauce was good. Will have to go back and try the tacos. All said, very good value for the downtown area and a good grab-and-go option.
