Frankie's Lobstah Trap

Our seafood pasta and steamed clams were just amazing!The owner, Frank, was very nice and always at disposal. Considering the quality, the price is justified.

Grilled cheese lobster roll was delicious. The lobster Mac and Cheese actually had nice sized pieces of lobster in it!

The food was delicious. We visited this spot with 27 people in tow for a birthday and the customer service was impeccable. Frank and his team made a great first impression on us. I think we must have ordered an item from each section and it was all delicious. But let me just brag on the truffle fries.... The best I have ever had! We will definitely visit again.

I would give it 4.5 stars just because they were out of oysters during happy hour ;) But the lobster bisque was excellent (if a tad on the salty side) and the grilled octopus was juicy and not rubbery: just right. I was concerned about service, given the other reviews but Nikki has been very attentive. Will visit again.

I am here enjoying dinner with my wife and two daughters and I have to tell you, I am very happy with the service and the food, despite the negative reviews, we decided to still give it a shot and it was absolutely wonderful! Their lobster bisque is absolutely amazing :) we also had their sushi, everything is fresh and my little girl’s were delighted with their spaghetti... I’m so glad that they have decent food for the kids and they gave them coloring books for my little girls! Usually hard to find a place that is accommodating when you got kids! Our hostess was amazing, Heidi at the door! Our server Alvarado very attentive and accommodating especially having little ones, lots of patience :-)

Food was delicious, had the crab artichoke dip, calamari and surf and turf fried rice. Lobster was cooked perfectly, steak filet medallions cooked so they still melt in your mouth. Calamari was also cooked well, not rubbery. Service wasn't the best but we had a large group. Server could have been a bit more attentive but overall not bad. I would definitely return as there were items others ordered that looked and said were delicious.

I've visited here several times for dinner and this place remains consistent with their service being at its best. Food is always served at its proper temperature and tastes fresh. The lobster bisque is absolutely out of this world and the monstah burger is a treat, too. We always seem to get the same server when we arrive and we have no complaints whatsoever.

I am a repeat customer. Now, I have 3 places for great grouper sandwich. It actually works out because they all on opposite ends of Tampa. If you want to try a great fried, or blackened grouper sandwich with tasty truffle fries and happen to be at the International Mall this is the place!! I went again on Sunday and Frankie, came by to say "hello". Super nice guy, you can tell he cares about the quality and service!!

Service & food very good!

Nice new restaurant. The price is a little high compared to the portion sizes. Kind of a small restaurant. Only one unisex restroom. The taste is definitely there but not suberb. I loved the the tenderness of squid as calamari and grilled. The fries were good with the truffle oil. Old fashioned was a little expensive for the taste and portion size.

Went to Frankie's for lunch and the food was excellent. Our server Anishah was outstanding and very attentive to all our needs. I read all the negative reviews and still decided to try it out and I'm glad I did.

Great little no fuss spot for seafood dishes. Everything was very flavorful and fresh. Real crab in the dip and perfectly cooked lobster in the rolls. They have a housemade sauce that's served with fries, but it goes great on everything. The service was amazing and attentive, even as things got busy.The restaurant is small, so seating for 12+ may be tight.Definitely going back.

This restaurant was very scrumptious. The waiters were very attentive to our needs. I came here with my girlfriend for date night and we had a great time. I would definately recommend this place to anyone looking for a night out! The prices arent crazy either! Great restaurant overall.

I don't really care for seafood myself, but I enjoyed this place. We ordered a tempura shrimp roll, lobster bisque, a lobster roll, lobster mac and cheese, and truffle fries. Lobster was not fishy and clearly fresh. Everything came out quickly and the service was great. Atmosphere was comfy and the decor is fun. Great for a quick lunch but would make a nice date night dinner too.
