Very easy to get off and back on 95. You won't be disappointed with any part of this stop. The pizza is awesome. The service has always been outstanding. The prices are reasonable. Easily a family favorite.

Seated at 8:10PM, didn't get our pizza until 9PM. After seeing people who were seated after us come and go, finally asked what happened with our order.. they gave away our order. Would have been great if they communicated and didn't have to prod to find out where our food was. The pizza netted this review two stars.

Delicious pizza with a crisp thin crust. Go now for the summer pie with fresh tomatoes. Also enjoy all the pies, including the clam pie. They have good salads for starters, too. It's noisy, there is usually a line for tables during dinner, and you may have a bit of a wait for your pizza, but worth the wait. Servers are nice.

Fantastic pizza. Thoughtful staff. It lived up to the hype. Easy detour from 95. I look forward to returning next time I'm driving north.

Got a bacon & mushroom pizza & it was delish. Perfect crisp on the crust & sauce was great (not too sweet & tasted fresh). Only complaint is that the toppings were a little light for a near $30 investment, but it was a great pie.

The essence of Connecticut-style pizza. From a coal-fired oven, asymmetrical and cut into irregular slices. Sweet sauce and sliced rather than shredded cheese. Make sure you you eat the crust.

It was soooo good, the crust taste was the best! Everything tasted great. The service is fast and really friendly.

Been going to Pepe’s for 30 years. Recently came up north from FL and was looking forward to a classic white clam. Unfortunately this was absolutely the worst Pepe’s pizza I have ever had - even for Fairfield, which has never been as good as New Haven. Incredibly chewy and half of the pie was completely really burnt.

After passing this place everyday for over 2 years, I decided to grab a pie for mommy and daugther night. The young lady seevices us was a joy, but the pizza was past burnt and dry, had to toss and go back out and grab burgers and fries😔 and i was really excited about this place after hearing so many good things..OHH WELLL....

Iconic and historic pizza place specializing in New Haven pizza. The coal fired oven makes an excellent crust, chewy inside with spots of char. I really was surprised by the clam pizza and enjoyed all the pies we tried. We did takeout but the service seemed efficient and friendly.

I'm glad I had the chance to come eat here. This is one of the oldest pizza places I've been to period. Made with mold of the same charcoal oven Frank pepe used in the 1920's, it's just as bit as good as the original. The place was heated so it was a nice retread during the polar vortex and the pizza was delicious. We ended up getting the peat lovers and the clam pizza based on the waiter recommendations and it was great. If you are going by yourself or with one other person I recommend a small. We ordered a medium and took half a pizza with us.

Although my delivery was sooner than plan, I expected more from this pizza, the sausage tasted under cooked and the crust was hard and burnt. For the price I paid i truly expected better. Disappointed 😞

One of the best pizza places in the country. In season try the fresh tomato pie.

Omg! What happened!!! Back north for a visit, so go grab a pizza from my favorite place..... but what the heck did they just give me???? It was the worst Pizza ive ever had. I could not bite through the crust, it had no flavor and honestly seemed like it was sitting around for two days! Maybe just a fluke? Or maybe a problem with the Fairfield location?? Extremely disappointed! Thx for reading!

There is a large booth that might be close to fitting ten. Otherwise, they might be able to put some tables together.

Don't know, give them a call.
