Francesco's Ristorante Italiano

This place is home made authentic Italian. I come from an Italian family myself. This red sauce I could eat with a spoon. Bread melts in your mouth. Veal Sorrentino was perfect. It's a little pricey but you will not leave hungry.

Having lived in Sicily I appreciated some of the nostalgia and authenticity. It is a quaint place with limited space. Be patient for the good, hot meal (take home your leftovers for another enjoyable meal) and save space for the delicious desserts.

First time here! Amazing food. Met the Chef and he was very personable and professional. Waitress was top notch and thier sweet tea is GREAT!

Mixed evening. The osso buco (pork shank) was great, fell right off the bone. Salad fine. Chocolate moose was peasant. Espresso excellent. Sadly, the pasta was bland. No hint of the rosemary. I could see the garlic, but no real flavor. Service was relaxed. But a bit inattentive about water refill

First time visiting, it seemed that the staff was a little overwhelmed but finally got seated, this is a small restaurant so only about 10 tables. I thought it was a little pricey and then was disappointed by how small the portions were. The food tasted delicious and honestly would have liked a little more. Our waitress was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I probably wouldn't visit again, even though the food tasted good it just wasn't worth the price.

Best Italian restaurant I've been to in years. Ordered the butternut squash ravioli in a creamy pesto sauce with sausage and added on shrimp. Delicious! Rest of the family had baked ziti, penne a la vodka, and linguini carbonara. The garlic bread they serve and even the standard house salad were delicious. Service was also excellent!

Flavor was four stars, takeout staff was great. The amount of meat on my subs was incredibly small. Considered three stars, less than one sausage link, on a 10+inch sausage and peppers sub(should call it a pepper and sausage instead, sausage did not have the top billing). Only one experience, I personally wouldn't go back. Got a steak and cheese as well, meat only covered 2/3 of the sub. Nothing but lettuce and mayo, pretending to be a sandwich.

I have eaten here a number of times... It is truly the best Italian restaurant in Williamsburg and the surrounding area.

Recently ordered takeout for a small group. Ordered Lasagna, salad and garlic bread. Everything was hot and delicious. More remarkable were the portions!! We could have fed even more than we expected. Bottom line-delicious, huge portions and priced reasonably for what you get.

What a wonderful place the place is beautiful . Such a cozy place . Great staff especially josh he took care of me and wife . By far the best Italian restaurant Ive ever been too. Blows Brooklyn New York away. Till next time .

If the definition of high quality was a restaurant, it would be Francesco’s. I was wearing jeans but the atmosphere made me feel like I was wearing a gorgeous black dress. Food was out of this world and our server, David, was an absolute dream! You can tell how much joy and pride he has for this craft and company. He went above and beyond to make our night out perfect. We wanted for nothing. Definitely try the cappuccino, cheesecake, and especially the home made pasta, David was right, it’s a whole different animal! Absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to come back!

The food was excellent, as was the service. They have arancini as an appetizer, which many Italian restaurants do not offer, and it was delicious. Their marinara was divine, and I would have been thrilled to just eat that with a spoon! We'll be back soon, for sure!

The homemade pasta is absolutely delicious. My salmon with lemon paper sauce was cooked to perfection. I highly appreciate and recommend this restaurant.

Oh my God, the food there was amazing, the veal sorrentino was one of the best Italian veal dishes I have ever had. The staff is outstanding and the service is excellent. When in Williamsburg and craving Italian food you must go here.

The food was amazing! Atmosphere and service was great too. This is the most authentic Italian food that I have had.
