I made the trek to Monona today, and it was definitely worth it. I work very close to where the old regent st. was, and miss having it for lunch. Man, did it hit the spot.

One of the best kept secrets in Madison. A friend told me abut this place and its an Italian grocery and deli and its simply amazing. I've been back a half dozen times since and this is the real deal. Forget the chain so called sub shops, this is the genuine artifact and the true definition of a deli. Get yours made to order or select a ready to go in the cooler with all the sides you could imagine and it's priced well and the quality is superb plus there's a grocery with a butcher shop and they do catering. Don't take my word for it just go, you will not be disappointed, I'd give more stars if I could.

They're a great location for specialty items not necessarily always Italian but they have cheeses and sausages and meats you can't get anywhere else
