Prices suck if you're a non-resident, but not a bad for students. Food is okay for a college dining hall and the workers are friendly.

Pretty good cafeteria. Try the cucumber avocado sushi! It (and the egg rolls) are the best things there. If they don't have that, get a grilled chicken sandwich or burger.

They either play no music at all or weirdly long metal guitar solos which are aweful. So if you have headphones with you then you're golden.

I chose the salad bar for lunch since there was a nice assortment of very fresh ingredients to build the salad from. There are also stations that have many other types of food and beverages. Seating options include inside or outside tables and chairs. Overall a very nice place to grab a meal whether you're by yourself or with friends or family.

Four Lakes Market has a selection that can satisfy many different palates. However, there are a plethora of problems. For one, many of the employees give incredibly small portions that do not satisfy ones biological needs. Employees at Maki Mono often refuse to serve a bowl with half tofu and half meat, though I have been told that this is not against the rules. Furthermore, employees at the register have over charged me numerous times. Until Four Lakes Market improves upon these problems, I do not feel that I can wholeheartedly give a rating any higher than three stars.

Food is pretty good for campus food. Service is pretty slow, especially for food that is not pre-cooked. It is usually clean. I would rate 4 stars if the service was faster. Prices are also, in my opinion, pretty steep considering you are not getting waited on and most of the food is just okay. I recommend going to Rheta's Market as it is only $5.50 for all you can eat, especially if you are really hungry.

The staff here primarily consists of students who generally work hard to provide helpful service. The food itself is generally average with no exceptional standouts, but for a University Housing resident the discount on all purchases with your Wiscard make your meals well worth it. The menu varies day to day. I personally enjoy the pulled pork at 1849 (one of the many subrestaurants), just make sure to steer clear of the sauce because it is so sweet that it buries the rest of the flavor. Overall, it's an absolute must for University Housing students but there are better options if you're a visiting parent or are looking for an outstanding Madison restaurant.

Great dining hall for UW students, faculty, and visitors. There are plenty of options to choose from. The staff work hard to keep food available and to make your visit great. If you ever want a waffle at 9:00 pm this is the place to go.

Elegant dining experience, best college dining hall I’ve seen. Many options, such as Maki Mono Asian style noodles and sushi, Fired Up for burgers, fries, and chicken, Bouna Cucina for pasta and pizza, 1849 for comfort food, and much more.

Dejope Dining Hall has a variety of foods, including a few ethnic food choices. It is located in the Lakeshore area of the UW-Madison Campus and is thus accessible to many UW-Students. The food is great, however more often than not, many of the food stations are not open during traditional meal times which is disappointing.
