Founding Farmers is now open in Reston Station, a transit-friendly development for living, eating, and shopping located on the Silver Line at the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station. Founding Farmers Reston is a full-service restaurant and bar open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch on weekends. As a farmer-owned restaurant, almost all of our delicious food and drink – from our freshly baked bread and house-churned butter to our craft cocktails with our proprietary spirits – is made from scratch, using high-quality ingredients from American family farms. This is the definition of a home cooked meal. It may not be from your home, but it is solid "stick to your ribs" kind of fare. Excellent service and I was actually thanked for making a reservation, nice tough. Food was very good and it was much quieter and easier to converse than you'd suspect what with all the glass and other hard surfaces. Nice semi separate bar area looks like a nice potential spot for drinks as well. Parking was a breeze or you can valet or the front door is just steps from metro. I will certainly be back.

This rating is not for the restaurant, since I have never dine in here. I just wished this spot should have been reserved for a grocery store. It would have been much more valuable for the over 700 residents who lives nearby. Thank you. Wish the best to Founding Farmers, but that is my view.

I love Founding Farmers for brunch and dinner. I've specifically loved the spicy fried chicken and donut, the Pot Roast, Mac and Cheese, and some of the other pastries. Big fan of the bacon lollipops as well. Some of the other food I've seen but not tasted looks great.If you go for brunch, it's a bit expensive, but man is it great with a plethora of options. Dinner is reasonably priced and great.I like the decor of this one better than the Tysons one. The service was very nice as well. The location is a little odd for but, but I think that area looks like it will be improving around the silver line station there.

YES. Well they are the designated comfort food place and the do have pierogi. Hope that works... After all it was founded by the by North Dakota Farmers Union and Farmers Restaurant Group and I just saw the menus with Pierogies section? I will try to add the picture of the section in the menu.

Update: we do have outdoor seating, but you will need to come in and order at the bar inside. Dogs are welcome, but must be on the leash at all times and accompanied by someone. So please only bring your pups if you have someone to watch him/her outside when you come in to order!

Parking is in the adjacent garage and then you take either elevator up to the restaurant and metro level.

I believe it is Sat and Sun only and it is a buffet style brunch.
