It began with a super friendly guy at the door who seated us and checked in on us repeatedly even though he wasn't our server. It continued with a hard choice to make from its menu, as everything looked so good! It finished with a fantastic meal, all 4 of us got something different and we loved them all. We only wish we had room for the dessert!

I gave them 3 stars because the drinks were really good. And the server was really nice. The food though- everything was super dry The chicken was chewy and dry. Wish it was juicy even a tiny bit. Mac n cheese - dry. Not creamy at all. Hash puppies - although they were complimentary , very dry. This is not how I imagined my dinner tonight.

Wings are, well quite good. Try all the sauces but forty acre sauce the best. Cheese grits so good too. People serving amazingly friendly and fun. Seem to slow way down when busy (both times we were there). Chalked it up to new restaurant and staff. Glad I walked in. Great atmosphere and food. Keep up the good work.

Everything we had was awesome! Best brisket in town right now. The fried chicken was moist and crispy. Collard greens were tasty. The cornbread was sweet and moist. The mashed potatoes with the chicken gravy were memorable. Will definitely be back for the rest of the menu.

I highly recommend the shrimp and grits sampler - all 3 varieties were outstanding. The spicy was just spicy enough and the northern was a bit savory. Enjoyed every bite. Our party also had the grilled cheese sandwich (plenty for 2 meals), the catfish and the chicken and waffles. For the appetizer we enjoyed the winter version of the cast iron cheese dip. The food was beautifully prepared, truly delicious, in a comfortable environment. It was our first visit and the server provided good recommendations to help us with our selections.
