Was looking for somewhere to eat that was healthy and I'm so happy I found Forage Kitchen! Absolutely delicious food and great portions! I'm a 200 Lb guy and as I look at the last of this bowl I don't know if I can eat! Haha but I will because it's delicious! Had a great experience with the staff as well! Will definitely be back!

Such a great lunch spot! Delicious salads and grain bowls, local and well-sourced ingredients, at a good price. The kombucha didn't impress as much as I had hoped, but it was still good.

I stopped in after a bit of pushing, and I'm glad I finally did. The food was great, the bowls sizable, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. It was way better than I expected, and much more than just a "salad place". They also make and sell their own cans of kombucha and bottles of other fruit drinks. I will absolutely return.

Delicious make your own salads. I'm happy I found this place because after several days of eating poorly on the road I wanted a good wholesome healthy meal. I got it here. Outdoor seating is available. Some add ons are not displayed like almonds. You have to ask. I also got the ginger lemonade, very good but I regret buying the locally made dark chocolate. The amount of chocolate was deceivingly small compared to the outrageous $6 price, which was not displayed. My mistake agreeing to the purchase nonetheless.

Ordered a Thai bowl with chicken. When I got it, it did not have chicken. Paid $15 for something I didn’t order. E-mailed the restaurant and they said I would get a refund, but never got it. I used to order from them a lot and was very happy with their food, after this they lost my confidence. Really upset over this.

Great vegetarian and vegan options. Good amount of food for the price too.

Love this place! When you need something delicious and green, come here. I love the fresh, high quality, unique ingredients. Eating here is pretty casual. I usually make my own salad but the curated salads always sound super good.

Couldn’t be more pleased with my first experience at Forage Kitchen! The girl at the counter was super patient while I took my time choosing among all the great ingredients. Huge salad portion for dinner, everything fresh and tasty. Ordered the tempeh as a protein and honestly wish I could have tempeh every single day now! Only critique I could give is that the kombucha was just OK... not “boochy” (funky/acid) enough to my taste.

Great salads and bowls!

I go to the downtown Forage once a week, and always get the power bowl with extra sweet potatoes. Usually the quantity is consistent and the size of a the bowls are very large; I am never left wanting. However I was near Hilldale and thought I’d stop into the new Hilldale Forage. The person working made two power bowls at once instead of making the two separately, and initially I thought she was only making one because the portion sizes she was adding were so measly! She then divided them into two bowls that were pathetically small, nothing like the normally robust bowls I get downtown. They were about a 1/4 the size of the downtown bowls, and obviously had none of the extra sweet potatoes I had paid for. I was left hungry and supremely disappointed.

Everything here tastes amazing! Fast service and really friendly people.
