Foothills Brewpub

Loved my servers both times I've been so far. Food has been good. Burger was a little over-done. Would definitely return. Plus they have trivia night...

Truly an icon in Winston-Salem and the regional craft beer scene. No trip to the triad would be complete without a stop at the brewpub. It's got charm for days, world class beer and chef Shane does not play.

4 stars because this experience wasn’t what we’ve come to expect from this brewpub. The service was very lacking and the food was ok. The burgers that 3 out of 4 of us ordered we over cooked, medium rare ordered, medium well was served. And if we needed anything we had to go find a server even though we were sitting at the bar.....we have eaten here several times and have always been very impressed. Sadly, not this time.

Fantastic place with a great variety of beers. Love the IPA styles. Food was way above average. Twas darn good fixings. Loved the open atmosphere. Post Covid-19, first weekend, they are all wearing masks and happy to serve ya. I will be back.

The beer was average (The Hippie Handprint Summer Wheat and Hoppyum IPA were the best of the flight supplied by the brewery) but the food was fantastic. My wife enjoyed the wings and the Dirty South Burger I had was perfectly cooked.

Went here to try their beers on Thursday night. Asked about getting a flight and the bartender said they usually do flights but couldn't tonight because they didn't have any glasses. The two beers I tried ( October Fest and Pumpkin Ale) were good. Didn't have as ny food so can't comment on that.

Nice staff. Open late. Nice decor/ambiance. The food is mediocre. Foothill brews. If that’s what you’re looking for, it’s here.

Visited Foothills Brewery for my Dads birthday on a Sunday for lunch. It was the perfect spot. My family and I had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any food or drink suggestions. The menu is great, not your typical brewery food. They also have other drink selections if you are not wanting beer. Large place with plenty of seating. Great location.

My absolute favorite restaurant in the Winston-Salem Greensboro area! Great food, great atmosphere, AMAZING staff. Never been disappointed! The staff remembers my drink preference every visit and my usual orders also! If you havent been, GO NOW!!!

Went there for lunch and tried the grilled smoked gouda pimento sandwich with tater tots. The sandwich was great and the tots were amazing! Maybe the best tater tots ever. The service was a little slow (not due to our waitress, who was friendly and engaging) but they recognized that and gave us a complimentary dessert to share. We hadn't complained and it was nice that they were proactive in making sure we were happy. Definitely will be back.

Foothills Brewpub at 638 W 4th St, Winston-Salem is a spacious bar/restaurant in downtown Winston-Salem serving craft ales and a respectable choice of fare. Occasionally the venue plays hosts to musicians for live performances. Seating is available on two levels, and at ground level the rear of the restaurant offers more of a "pub" ambience for those who want a bar and perhaps some TV for company.

Smack in the middle of downtown. Roomy, vibrant, wide variety of beer. They have their standard staple beers you can find most anywhere, but they have a pretty good run of seasonals and specials too. The food was good, especially that hot chicken sandwich.

The Shanwich is super tasty A bbq chicken breast with melted swiss, pineapple on a sweet bun. If you like sweet and savory I highly recommend this dish.

We ordered the chips and dip. They were very good. Only gave a small bit of dip so you may need to order extra. The chips were light and crispy. I loved the beer I got (description in the picture attached). The menu was huge and inclusive. Maybe too many options?
