Great Oysters, amazing sweet potato crusted fish and attentive service

We sat at the counter and watched the chefs cook all the food. Very fun. Food was delicious. Went back later for desserts. I would not hesitate to go back again.

First time visiting this place and we weren’t disappointed. Tasty food with a lot of choices. Good service and nice people.

A little pricey but always the best place to go to get fresh fish prepared with a tropical flair and variety to please all palates. Daily specials keep you guessing between an old favorite and tantalizingly new offer. It doesn't matter which you choose your stomach will be filled with the freshest tastiest meal that will leave you and your guests begging to return. Leave room for desert, you can thank me later.Parking can be tight in a very large parking lot.Expect a moderate wait time as this is a very busy restaurant.

Creatively prepared, fresh seafood and other fare. Can't say it's cheap but I definitely can say that it is worth every penny and more. Unfortunately we aren't the only ones who know, so be prepared to wait for seating, but use the time wisely to deepen your appetite and sharpen your taste buds.

Honestly the environment and dinner were just amazing. We showed up at 530 on Friday and there was an hour wait for 6. We slipped in the bar side and found a seat yourself table and were able to order dinner and get to work. Everyone there from clientele to staff were super hospitable and friendly. The food was out of this world for a strip mall eatery. I had the grilled octopus over blue corn grits. Coming from grits country, they did right by the greater grits community. Kimchi flavored Brussels to Dede’s claimed worlds best tres leches dessert, the hits just kept coming. Can’t wait to return.

I was told about this gem of a place 6 months ago and totally forgot about it. Last week I was reminded of it and went there this evening. There are two sides of the establishment,,, bar/restaurant. I was at the restaurant side and sat at the "bar" to watch he cooks. I enjoyed the professionalism of the staff doing their craft. The food was amazing. I chose to order off the specials which has you pick the fish and then your type of breading/flavor. I also ordered the conch soup,,, everything was great. I'm her eff for 4 more weeks and will be back!!

I travel the world and eat in the 'best' restaurants. Food Shack is my favorite! The place is amazing. The unique combinations of flavors, can't say enough. The world is moving to standardization and monotony and Food Shack keeps it real. Leave room for Key Lime Pie after the therapy bowl- off the charts.

Best fresh fish in the area, get the wahoo with sweet potato crusted batter on greens. Tacos looked great, although I would ask for grilled mahi, instead of fried. Fast service, busy.

I was very impressed! I had the coconut lump crab cake sandwich. Everyone was friendly, even the local customers. I'll be back for sure, glad i found this gem.

Food was delicious and the staff is very friendly. The daily menu always has great options that never disappoint. Portions are large and perfect for sharing, or for someone with a large appetite. Can't wait to come back.

This was a new experience for us and a different cuisine. There were so many great menu choices it was hard to pick one to try. The sweat potato crusted tile fish was recommended by the server and our daughter. It did not disappoint. This fish came on top of a combination of greens, apple slices and other delights. The fish was flakey and had a crispy sweet potato crust with a drizle of sauce for added flavor. I savored every bite. The crowd in the resturant was a testament to the great food and atmosphere.

Perfect fish! Definitely shareable entree’s, love the fresh salads that accompany the fish
