Food Park at Thistle Hill

A friend of mine brought me here for an event held by the Modern. It was a great experience. This house is unique and a great piece of history preserved in the middle of a busy city. We enjoyed touring the grounds at our leisure and experiencing the quality and character of Thistle Hill home.

One of our great heritage sites. They do need to "bone up" on the history of the house and city.

Life long admiration for Fort Worth Landmarks. My mom worked on the restoration some time ago and I got access to a lot of normally inaccessible area's.. Interesting stuff. The food truck events at the carriage house are cool also.

Edit: updated from 1 star to 5. They worked to make things right,and I am satisfied now. Excited to have my wedding there next year!I really wanted to have my wedding there for a specific date, and I was thrilled that during my second visit of the venue, the event staff told me and my matron of honor that she had blocked off the date for us and was going to send us the paperwork to move forward asap. Days passed, and she never sent me the contract, so I reached out and she said she couldn't remember which date I wanted. When I reminded her, she told me someone else booked it already. Like... I understand that things get booked, but why on earth did she tell me that she had blocked off the date for me? It's a beautiful venue, but they broke my heart by booking out from under me.

Beautiful space and the society did an amazing job preserving and refreshing the grounds.

Just went back to visit where we got married 20 years ago. It's still magnificent!

Attended a wedding/ New year's eve party there and had a wonderful time. Like stepping back in time.

Beautiful antique house, my brother was married here. The grounds and house itself are very well taken care of. Perfect for the small wedding we had. Beautiful grounds for the wedding pictures, and easy access from the parking lot. Definitely recommend. Only problem from my understanding is you have to book a viewing, you can't just wander in.

Even though it was all wet from the rain Russel Farms was amazing! The staff was very helpful and met all of our needs. The venue was a great choice for the wedding!!

Thistle Hill makes a wonderful spot for a wedding reception or other significant gathering. This historic location is poised to transcend into the future as a venue for music and special events. Looking forward to great things here in the future.

just loved the theme of the mansion

It's really old and just like it was in the 1930's. Beautiful. Anyone would love to have their wedding here.
