About

Food Dance is committed to building a thriving and sustainable local food system. We support artisans who practice craft food processes that have been around for generations-growing, raising, preserving, curing, aging, pickling, butchering and more. For Food Dance, it's about the connection with the people and places their food comes from-authentic people and authentic food that's true to its source. Serving breakfast, lunch or dinner-guests are served the freshest menu items in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. We offer private dining space for celebrations or larger groups as well as catering and delivery. We host cooking classes and special dinners throughout the year - aimed to introduce guests to new elements of the culinary and agricultural worlds. Our on-site market offers amazing ingredients sourced from their family of purveyors-from sustainable, humanely raised meats, sausages and artisan cheeses to fresh baked bread, pastries and savory baked goods.

We go to Food Dance Restaurant on E Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI, quite often, especially Sunday brunch. Comprehensive menu including local farm-to-table specialities. There is always a crowd of cheerful eaters in a roomy and well decorated (Conrad Kaufman) joint with wonderful views of downtown Kalamazoo. Entrance delicatessen is worth a visit while waiting for a table, so reservations are advised at rush hours. Attentive service.

Every dish is delectable and just so well done. From the moment we walked in the door, we were welcomed with great service, a helpful server/hostess, and good atmosphere. You would not regret this experience!

Love this place. Amazing food and I usually don't go crazy over food. Service was fantastic and everything was clean and nice.

Questions & Answers

Yes.

They do and most people don't realize they have a second parking lot just to the south east. The main lot is small but the second lot ads a lot of available parking.

I hear they're back ;)

Correct

It is nice that there is a farm to table restaurant. I just didn't find it to be worth the prices. I think they're trying to hard to make it upscale

No, unfortunately. Our plan is to re-open the week of November 26th. Thank you for inquiring.

Yes.

We do not make cannoli. We'd recommend looking at one of our local Italian restaurants; maybe Martini's or Mangia Mangia. Thanks for thinking of us.
