Flying Vine Wine Bar and Bistro

Food is fantastic. The stuffed mushrooms and the bruschetta are delicious appetizers. The pecan crusted snapper is really good but it is a bit spicey... which we liked. The lobster meatballs and pasta had great flavor and a tasty sauce. The service was a but disappointing. There was a large party at the restaurant, which could be the reason. Will definitely be back for the food.

Richie was our bartender and he knows his wines. We had the meat and cheese plate on Sunday and it was to die for. We also had the bread pudding donut holes for dessert. The Pinnatage wine from S Africa was really good. We went before the Harris County judge shut down the restaurants. Hopefully they will open soon. They are on the boardwalk with outdoor seating so hoping they can still operate.

Started going to the Tiki since the early 70s, hadn't been there since the 90s, long time huh, finally went back recently, it was so exciting because it hasn't changed. Mike the owner is an amazing person, the drinks are tasty tasty, the place is small, but that's what makes it so interesting. Everyone goes to have a good time, & are pretty much friendly. If you haven't been there, try it, I guarantee you'll go back. Enjoy!!!

Would've given this place 5 stars, if our waiter had told us the prices of the bottles of wine we had ordered. We thought we had ordered $28 bottles and instead they costed $54 each. The waiter was very nice and his service was very good. Next time we will ask to be sure of the prices of wine. Don't get me wrong! I have no problem paying a higher price, but want to know before I consume it.

Atmosphere is very nice. Wait staff were very attentive and inviting. Food was outstanding! We will definitely be back.

Food quality was amazing. One of the best restaurants I've been to when it comes to the flavor. If trying for the first time I definitely recommend the Lamb chop appetizer as well as the Lettuce wraps. The atmosphere inside the bar/restaurant was a nice, warm, chill environment. You are definitely able to have a conversation while there without being drowned out by the crowd, or music. Great for if you are wanting to go on a date or just have a relaxing night out without the overwhelming atmosphere of a usual bar scene.

I booked this place for a dinner after my wedding and it ended up being double booked. They where still able to accommodate my party and I and did an amazing job! The food and service was excellent. The staff worked hard to be able to give my husband, our guests and I a wonderful experience.

Haven't been there but if you're planning on going, call first. Apparently, you can rent the whole place out for your personal reception and they will close to the public. (Without notice) So don't waste your time getting ready to show up without calling. Good thing I called.

Great food, atmosphere, and locally run business.

Pricey. Food is good but not a lot of bang for the buck. Door was actually locked during business hours. We had to knock on the door to ask if they were open . It was not busy at all. Menu is limited to pricey bar food items or full out dinner menus .

Masters of their craft, the mixologist (bartenders) know the ins and outs of making the perfect drink. Great spot on the Boardwalk to take in an epic sunset while chatting with friends or loved ones. Feels like walking into a friend's house where everyone knows your name and drink of choice.

Very good food and service just as expected

This was my first visit and I was impressed. I enjoyed the crawfish pie the most. We had the ribs with fingerling potatoes, tuna with risotto, risotto bites, and delicious wine. I would return. The sitting area was a bit cold, bring a light jacket...but overall very pleased.
