Flaming Kitchen

The restaurant is not too big so it does not welcome big party. However if you have just a handful of guests, this is certainly not a bad place to go to. Most entrees are served on a sizzling hot metal plates. While your food is always served hot, if you have little ones companying you, it's not ideal as it could be quite dangerous. There isn't much room for strollers parking, also. The food is overall not bad. It's very flavorful and it's not ordinary food that you can get anywhere else. I would recommend this restaurant to people who has never had this type of food before. However it would not be a restaurant that I would go to everyday as it's quite filling.

Ordered a delivery, 2 black curry beef rice. Absolutely disgusting and awful. The corn and carrots taste like they just pulled out of the can. Beef is dry and curry is bland. Won’t come back again.

Most of the dishes here are served on a hot sizzling plate! The meat is served raw and you can cook it yourself on the plate! It's seasoned well, but the portions are a bit small.

Food is delivered quite fast, and the menu has multiple options, and the place is clean. I have yet to have a problem with servers as they are friendly and accurate with taking the orders. However their payment system is weird if you want to pay by credit card or split the tender- they flounder and don't know what to do and a bit of language barrier. If you can pay solely by cash it's better.

The server here was very nice. The spicy rice cakes were really tasty as well.

I have been a regular of this restaurant since they opened. They mainly serve plates on hot sizzling plates, so its a big plus in this snow. Big fan of the flaming spicy chicken noodle. Reasonable price and great quality！

Came here for lunch with my boyfriend and we got the flaming chicken lunch special and the beef udon lunch special. The service was fast and friendly.

This restaurant is conveniently located in First Markham Place, and is a definite standout for Chinese cuisine. There are a wide variety of hot plates available, along with appetizers and desserts. You can customize your plates, and add various toppings and sauces available for rice and noodle dishes. Service was exceptional - the staff here are super friendly and quick with getting your food. Check this spot out when you're in the area!

This location has been making changes which I understand but I believe offering good customer service is also informing your customer of extra charges and being reasonable. I was very disappointed with the service today. I have always come to this place for the past year yet today I was charged for no reason. It is common sense that if you order extra noodles that there should be extra sauce in proportion to the extra noodles. I asked for extra sauce for the noodles because the noodles was dry/pain and was not the usual creamy taste to it. I got charged for extra sauce?? The waiter was rude and had no common sense. I would recommend you go to the location on HWY 7. They actually put a full slice of cheese instead of half a slice on the spicy flaming chicken noodles, plus their portion sizes are alot better.

Waiting time and service were average. Took two waitresses to get us a few waters. Got the okonomiyaki fries - pretty good, but was a little to the salty side. My friend got the sukiyaki beef udon bowl, and the broth was really sweet ... Tasted more like teriyaki. Portion size is pretty big. They also brought the bill without us asking or giving any notice... a little pricy.

The spicy mentaiko beef udon was the best creamy udon I had in years. Strongly recommend it, but it is spicy so be aware! The portion was good for its price, though the location was a bit hard to find as it was located at the very corner

Overpriced and kind of mediocre. We had the spicy mentaiko beef udon, tomato seafood udon soup, and the salmon and shrimp rice. The beef udon was tasty and the noodles were cooked well. The tomato seafood udon was alright, but lacked flavour. Last AND least, the salmon and shrimp rice looked nothing like the image portrayed on the menu. The salmon is literally raw on the menu and in real life, it was charred tree bark.

The food had alot of flavor.lIt was great overall in general.

This place is actually quite reasonably priced, was comfortably full after one of their set lunches and an appetizer split between 5. Their salmon dish is probably their best, smoky flavour from the sizzling plate.
