Great customer service and food is amazing!!!!!

The food is fresh and amazing. Slightly on the costly side but well worth it if you want food that you know is good.

This place is the best. People are friendly, the place is clean, and the food is real and authentic Middleastern.

Best shawarma in Norfolk, hands down! Staff is incredibly kind and the food is downright delicious. The lamb is incredible and the pickled vegetables are a perfect compliment.

The food is always fresh and tasty and the service is friendly and very accommodating! This is their chicken and beef kabob made hot not mild!!

I came here after bowling with the family and I was STARVING. I actually intended to go to Pelons Baja Grill but they were unexpectedly closed. I had heard of Five Boroughs and wanted to give it a try. I'm glad I did! The location is kind of small with about 5 tables. I got the lamb schwarma platter that came with the lamb, rice, hummus, and lettuce tomato and pickles.

I ordered a lamb shish kabob pita for take-out today. The person I picked it up from was kind and smiling; it was ready within 20 minutes and was absolutely phenomenal! The lamb was cooked to perfection, incredibly seasoned, and the other ingredients gave the perfect balance of crunch and soft juiciness. I'm absolutely coming back!!

I love this place! I recommend it to everyone who will listen. Spicy chicken platter all day!

Stopped in for lunch today. I ordered the lamb shawarma platter and man was I pleased. The lamb had excellent flavor with the right amount of heat. Hummus was home made and delicious. They have a small dine in area here with a small parking lot out front. I will definitely be back next week.

We’ve been in this restaurant several times and every time the food was amazing: fresh, hot, juicy and flavorful. We live in Virginia Beach and don’t mind driving 25 mins when we crave this food. Today, 12/14, we’ve called them to order “to go”, and asked to start cooking upon our arrival to be sure that the food is hot. We’ve ordered chicken shawarma wrap with fries and lamb shawarma platter. The people who worked there tonight (a young girl and a guy, I wish I’ve asked their names) were super nice. They started preparing our order just 5 minutes before closing time and didn’t show any attitude about it. They were smiling, talking to us and prepared our food in the best way, as they always do. I don’t know where the owner finds these people, but I hope he/she appreciate them as much as customers do. Thank you, guys! You are amazing! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good food. Looking forward for a new location in Virginia Beach 😊
