Nothing overly special, just pleasant on the side of average. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I would go again.

The shrimp and grits are superb! Sunday lunch was fantastic! Live saxophone player made the atmosphere amazing! Love this place!

My steak was not cooked the way I asked, & server was slow . 0/10 mac&cheese was terrible also

Good place, but they need to bring back their pork chop. I had the paneed chicken. It was good, but i was missing the pork chop. The uptown chicken is a great appetizer and I will be getting it again.

On my trip to Tuscaloosa, I tried a lot of mediocre places that were *supposed* to be good. FIVE was the only one that I would return to. Very good food with a cool atmosphere.

Best place I ate while visiting for a week. Had the ribeye, it was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Service was top notch at the bar. 100% recommend.

The food was good, not 50 dollars good tho.... the menu literally only had 5 options... I can't get over that

You’d think with only five entrees on the menu it would be easy to decide but it’s totally not! Everything is amazing, especially the house salad and Paneed chicken! Great food, great drinks, and also amazing coffee!

I went for brunch and the customer service was great, the live music was amazing but the food just was just ok. I enjoyed the bartender Max, and my cocktail was super tasty. They also had a cool Bloody Mary station. The burrito was just lacking, literally it was fairly empty and the queso wasn’t appealing, and for $17 I was just expecting more. The hash browns was very slim in portions. I ate it and didn’t fuss about it but I won’t be ordering it again.

It was a nice atmosphere. The food and the service was good also. Our waiter constantly checked on us also. The only complaint was the fries were not hot but they were still good.

Went for brunch for the 1st time in awhile. Wear comfortable shoes & be prepared to walk. Very rare to find a park on the same street as the restaurant. The Sunday Jazz performer was 🤌🏾 He had us rocking. I had the breakfast burger with fries, caramel apple beignets & mimosa pitcher. It was delish. Will definitely return

So, first off, the restaurant itself is very cool--the chandeliers are gorgeous, and the ambience is trendy/casual. And our server was very nice and attentive. The food, though, was less impressive. We had a vegan job candidate and chose FIVE because they featured vegetarian and vegan options, per their menu and website--all one needed to do, it said, was ask your server. We asked, and the server was baffled, responding, "No, we don't have anything like that." We ultimately learned that they did, in fact, have a portobello burger, which three of us ordered after the ordeal to learn that it existed. It was...okay. It was kinda greasy, kinda bland, and too big/rubbery. In short, it was prepared by someone with limited knowledge of how to make a vegetable the entree. The thing was, though, no one at the table was particularly amazed by their food, even though the other items were presumably in the restaurant's wheelhouse. Let me be clear--it wasn't *bad*; it wasn't *good*; it was *okay.* It's a fun locale, so if the point is to socialize and enjoy the atmosphere, eat elsewhere, and then come to FIVE for drinks or something.
