Love the fish & shrimp. Could use some salt & pepper in batter or on protein before cooking. Fish fillets very moist. Inside very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This is a great little "hole in the wall" place. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, so there were not a lot of people around. We tried the boudin egg rolls, those are very yummy. We also tried the alligator balls (think hush puppy meets crab cake in a ball with alligator meat), those were a table favorite. We had various styles (platter, po-boy, etc) of shrimp, either blackened or fried and each method was great and tasty. The shrimp were nicely sized. Our party of 6 left very satisfied, and no longer hungry. Next time we are in the area, we will stop in.

Delicious fried catfish! Shrimp and chicken are good. Small place so get in early for lunch or dinner if u dont want to wait on a table. Friendly service with a smile....

Really good catfish and service. The blackened shrimp po-boy was pretty good, too. Eaten here dozens of times over the years and is always consistently good.

First visit... I truly enjoyed my salad(huge) and fried shrimp battered lightly in flour - fresh food. Oh yes and the tartar sauce was cold. I was getting to the point where I thought there was no where good to eat in New Caney. Well there is Fish Tales... I will be back!
